at least all the muppetty signings are being scooped up Early, less disappointment in the end when September comes

Following the Pjanic news with Muppetino after Pogba and the stale fart being bigged up yet again is a real morale lowerer.
A muppet can't really catch a break right?,we brought it our selves when we failed to build from a position of strength during our peak years.

Don't particularly rate Gomes but it's looking like he's the one. :(

Di Maria killed my desire for 'muppet' signings. Fairly content with whoever we end up with.

Yup, quite confident in Jose's ability to build a midfield

I was gonna say it was a bit harsh on Hillary and even Trump. :p

That was kind of my sentiment too. At least for Trump its a bit harsh. Hilary might as well be the City of US politics. Not sure exactly what I mean by that but I know it makes sense.

So Pjanic to Juve and Pogba to Real, makes sense really and we are rewarded with Mou bigging up Roo in the papers. Im done with this day...night all!

Will be distraught if another manager holds onto Rooney being the answer. However, still optimistic with large parts of the window left and transfers can spring any moment ala Bailly.

Eat a dick Madrid

feck Pogba. He's shit. Unless we sign him of course.

How I hate that club,God I hope they perpetually remain in Barcelona 's shadow for another decade.
Big time muppet killers, can't even allow us dream for a day.

Priceless reactions. Made my evening. Genuinely, amongst all the angst at this time of year simple and honest reactions like that put a smile on my face and remind me that regardless of what goes on on the continent, or next door, ultimately we don't give a shit because we're Man Utd.

LVG gambling everything on Rooney as a 25 goal a season striker was the prime reason for him losing his job imo, now it looks like Rooney might cost Jose his job next. I'm flummoxed how Jose couldn't have seen how detrimental to our team he has been, or how he could fit into a top class midfield.

It looks like he's going to cause the same problem for England, no way should he get in the first 11 but he will.

I will never forgive Moyes for handing Rooney this current contract. The butterfly effect started with that decision.

Hasn't it got more to do with marketing? I was always sure Scholes retired from internationals because he became disenchanted with the FA and their insistence on starting Gerrard and Lampard together, forcing carrot top onto the wing. Rooney is an important face for the FA.

He's been gone 2 years and is still managing to damage the team by proxy.

He undid decades of hard work and progress in less than a year. I would say his damage will linger for quite a while yet.
Couldn't agree more. And as far as Rooney is concerned, Fergie had done all the dirty work to make it easy to jettison him.

Yeesh, this has gone from Muppet Mode to a Cafdown. Relax people, our business this summer will be excellent to say the least.

It's like no one noticed the void of attacking quality that is our RW and this Matic stuff is pointless.

It's really frustrating that these journalists are guessing the wrong players for us.

To be honest I think the Pogba to United stories were planted by Juve to up the price and force Real Madrid's hand.

Unless he doesn't actually go there, which I can't see happening now. There is the possibility that he would have a desire to prove himself after his past experience at the club but the fact is most players would jump at the chance to play for Real. The huge fee of €120m is too good to refuse for Juve, also paired with their imminent signing of Pjanic.

I'm also sure that he will be on "best in the world" wages at Real, something he surely couldn't turn down. He has a lot of ambition and I can just see him seeing Real as his next big step. I'd love it if he would actually come back to United with a fierce desire to prove himself and make a massive statement, I just cant see it happening now.

£94m... crazy money if true.

It could well be that the Madrid stories have been planted to drive up the price for United.

Before this there was talk that neither Real, Barca or Bayern were prioritising him and that the door was wide open for us. Now we have real madrids interest and a definitive asking price.

(That's world class muppeting, admit it)

That does sound logical, everyone just seems to think it's done now Madrid interest is mentioned. I'd prefer you were right though.

No one is paying 120m euros for him. 100m max, and that's way too much. I'd fork out 50m pounds on him, but little more. If we want him, we should be very decisive make them an immediate take or leave it offer.

After the Bailly transfer, no point in second guessing United's transfer targets. Not one media house named him in our transfer targets.

Pogba was always going to Madrid or Barca, even if we didnt sell to Juve he would have gone there, even if we would be top of the league and in the CL final it still would have happened. If there is anythinh I have learned from the Ronaldo to Madrid saga it is that Real always get exactly what they want.

As for Pjanic for that price we should have been all over him. I think well get Gomes now but I dont rate him as much as Pjanic and he will be far more expensive aswell, another Herrera it seems.

As for Moyes destroying the good work SAF did by handing Rooney a new contract. Remember who it was that insisted on having Moyes as his successor.
