Would be more:

Gundogan ???
Auba De Bruyne Silva
Aguero
Pogba, Kroos, Fernando ?? The possibilities are endless. Hoping it's the latter, else would be very unfair on the Premier League.

Except City do need a top striker. Bony isn't good enough and Iheanacho isn't ready to make a difference. Aubameyang would be some signing for City.
Iheancho should be first back up for Aguero though. God knows when he will play when two of the best strikers are ahead of him with one spot to play for. Add in that Pep rarely rotates so when does he play?

He'll be loaned out for a couple of seasons, then sold.

Catch 22 with clubs like ourselves and City. Go for a big named striker and potential lose out on developing Kelchi and Rashford, or go more experienced but possibly past it striker and allow the youth striker to get game time.

Hart
Sagna --- Kompany --- Laporte ---- Clichy -
Gundogan --- Fernando
Silva
Aubameyang ------------- Iheancho --
Aguero

Caballero, Kolarov, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Fernandinho, Nasri, Bony
... is excellent. If they upgrade Fernando, Sagna and Clichy it could be terrifying.

I think you might be forgetting about their best player last season...

Demichellis? As much as I love watching him play for City... best player is stretching it a little!
no seriously, I know I forgot Sterling and I've assumed Yaya is off.\

Edit: Ah shite... I'm an idiot. Clearly my subconscious has chosen not to accept that he plays for City anymore.

No white text?.....

Maybe the player wants to leave to a bigger club? Dortmund don't seem to be going anywhere in the near future.

Even so, he's got 4 years left on his contract and given the Gundogan and Hummels sales, Dortmund should just tell him to sit tight as it wouldn't be the right moment for them to let another key player leave.

I get that the "player power" has drastically increased in recent years, but just because a player would be keen to move on doesn't mean the club should just suck it up.

As for the Sky story - they're just citing Di Marzio. Both reliable sources, but I just can't see it happening.

Can't see all this happening, but it would be crazy nonetheless:

Cech
Bellerin Benatia Koscielny Rodriguez
Cazorla Xhaka
Mkhitaryan
Ozil Sanchez
Vardy
-----------------------------------------
Hart
Sagna Stones Laporte Kolarov
De Bruyne* Fernando Gundogan Sterling
Aubameyang Aguero
*De Bruyne as a false right winger, average heat map is mainly in central areas. Almost like a 4-2-3-1 with De Bruyne as the no.10 and Sterling, Aubameyang and Aguero all interchaning.
----------------------------------------------------------------

Courtois
Ivanovic Cahil Rudiger Azipiculeta
Fabregas (Pirlo role)
Kante Willian
Hazard
Morata Lukaku

-----------------------------------
Mignolet
Clyne Sakho Matip J. Hector
Milner Can
Lallana Firmino Origi
Higuain

If City manage to get all 3 of Stones, Laporte and Aubameyoung, they will run away with the league.

How can they even get Laporte ? He's out with a long term injury.

Didn't stop them from getting Gundogan who dislocated his kneecap.
But don't these transfers involve passing the medical as well ?? Didn't we not sign RvN because of his ACL injury and had to wait a year ?

Don't really know how it works. Maybe they do medical for other stuff but not for his injured part? Gundogan signed with a dislocated kneecap, he had to have passed some sort of medical or maybe they waived it.

Seems like a blatant bending of the rules for me. Even FM doesn't let me sign an injured player.. :(

Medicals are more to find unknown injuries/if the club decides to worry about it. Naturally the club can still sign an injured player, wouldn't make sense if they couldn't.

Oh, I thought it was a FIFA rule that did not allow you to sign a player if they failed a particular set of tests/protocol. Anything extra is purely from the club's perspective as you said, since I recall Liverpool deciding not to sign Loic Remy after they found some irregularity in one of his tests.

I mean I could be wrong, but logically it's like:

Player A has hamstring injury at time of medical. naturally it doesn't represent long term worry for the club. Should they be denied being able to sign him just because of that? Of course logic doesn't always find its' way into things so...

Ofcourse logically, it makes a tonne of sense. Just not clear on the regulations behind it.
