If this happens, they have to win the league surely. Aguero, Silva, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Aubameyang.....we'd have an insane amount of catching up to do :(
These last three years have done terrible damage. Not employing Jose in the first place, then if City disappear into the distance I am worried Jose will have a meltdown. I think we can get Top 4 but I am not sure about the title.

It's the BBC, it's probably £30 million as they wrote.

The BBC has been notoriously terrible for not being able to tell the difference between euros and ponds the last few years. They're still insisting Depay was £32m despite the CEO of psv laughing at it and telling a journo they wish they'd gotten near that

Weird part is literally all those players sans Auba have major injury issues. And that's not even counting Kompany.

De Bruyne isn't injury prone. He was out last year due to landing awkwardly from a tackle, which could happen to anyone.

This doesn't make any sense. They've already lost two key players in Gundogan and Hummels. Why would they sell their top scorer within the same summer? He's also got a contract until 2020, so no pressure to sell whatsoever.

Auba played on the right for Dortmund when he first joined since Lewa was playing as striker.
True, but don't think Pep will be relying on a player to play on flanks when the player played there for the last time 2 seasons ago

Maybe the player wants to leave to a bigger club? Dortmund don't seem to be going anywhere in the near future.

Wasn't there a story about Aubameyang requesting talks at Dortmund following the sale of Gundogan and Hummels? Perhaps he is forcing a move?

You'd hope we're at least making contact. He'll probably opt for Champions League which is understandable but bloody hell; Aubameyang, Aguero, De Bruyne, Iheanacho, Silva and Stirling is a bit special.

So long as we sign Zlatan, Griezmann and Mahrez to play alongside Martial, Rashford, Memphis, Adnan and Pereira I won't be too upset I suppose.

I'd imagine Mansour will be signing a monstrously huge cheque for them - too much for Dortmund to turn down. I doubt there's much more to it than that.

And Smalling?
I am talking about signings. We need three good CBs. Also, Bailley can be utilized as an RB or LB. I would expect Bonucci and Smalling as the main CB pairing with Bailley being a squad player initially.

Now we know why we were after a seriously fast defender then...

Remember when City fans told us about their attention to youth players?
Iheanacho (sp) is fecked it seems. Saying that I wouldn't be too worried about this. Its like us buying a left winger or goalkeeper. Not really what the team needs atm.

Absolutely on the first point. The period after SAF should have been dealt with professionally but was not. It's a bit of a catch up game now. Could have been worse though, if City had spent more wisely they'd be at Bayern levels already. As it is, they still need to get these superstars and welcome a new (although sadly, excellent) manager too. They should win the league this season, but with Mourinho, we should make top 4 and I expect he'll get us playing and fighting for it. Seems like actually catching City after this might be too much though, and they'll only get further ahead if they keep this up.

Feck me I hope Aubameyang doesnt go to city. One of the best strikers in the game right now.

Where the feck is Madrid when you need them ? They take Ronaldo but they leave Aguero alone, they have their hands all over De Gea but they wont touch Aubameyang. Feck I hate them, and Pep.

Negative as feck! Catch city....We'll wave as we sail past them!

Except City do need a top striker. Bony isn't good enough and Iheanacho isn't ready to make a difference. Aubameyang would be some signing for City.

City after Stones as well as Laporte then according to that news piece on Sky.

They wouldn't have got fourth place without Iheanacho....

Same thing we have been hearing since the sheik took over.
