Didn't he mention earlier that Sporting were negotiating a transfer, despite the man himself saying he wouldn't play for anyone else in Europe? He really does write utter shit.

Not a chance of that happening noone else is going to pay the wages he is on and I really do think he is totally taking the piss out of us and will sit it out..
I was delighted when we signed him but he has been a disaster and his attitude stinks ...I completely believe the stories of united payers confronting him last season about how he trading the team not showing up for matches jetting in and out whenever he felt like it ..swanning off to watch his missus play tennis ... The guy barely appeared for us from January onwards yet was fit for the euros ... He moved around more and quicker there than here managed all season for us.
He was on his way to Greece last week.
No option to buy seems weird, I guess they figure he is a stop gap or if they want next summer even without the option they can still table a bid.

He'll improve their centre-back position but he wouldn't bring them to the next level.

So David Luiz is leaving and staying at the same time. It goes perfectly with his footballing ability.
