I remember martins indi was the next big thing after the WC (along with de Vrij. Where is he now?). He was Mangala replacement at Porto and now Mangala could be his replacement? To quote Justin Timberlake 'what goes around comes around '

Nah mate, it ain't going to happen. We can't afford players like Schweinsteiger unless we only pay 10% of his wages. The Schweinsteiger transfer thread in our fórum was locked by the mod with a " no explanation needed" reasoning. This comes from the same newspaper that said that we were interested in Benzema last year. Correio da Manhã is worse than "The Sun". It's a Joke of a newspaper, a clueless tabloid. Don't waste your time with this rumour. He may leave but certainly not for us.

Understood. You have made a lot of money this summer with sales of all your main players, but I know you have a court case with the company that owned Rojo, right?

Yeah we have made some money but have alot of expenses. We avoided bankrupcy but we still have the Doyen case in dispute (most likely we will have to pay), a brand new Sports facility to inaugurate next year and our payments to the Banks. We are in better financial shape compared to our previous board years but were still on strict budget. Like i said this is a non story unless United pays 100% of the wage, which would be pretty stupid. Furthermore, Sporting doesn't have the best relationship with Mourinho. Schweinsteiger would more easily move to Porto or Benfica.

de Vrij has just started playing for Lazio again after injury.

I see, in this case I think the United/Sporting relationship would take precedence over the issues with Mourinho, but as you say it's just not feasible, plus I can't see Jorge Jesus and Schweinsteiger being a good fit with the former's temperament and the latter's injury issues.

I don't think he could even pass our Physician doctor Frederico Varandas. He is a notorious hard ass, former comando with tours in Bosnia, who has rejected players like Sandro (former Spurs player), Kevin Prince Boateng (former Milan and Schalke) and Lucas Silva (Real Madrid player) just recently. He is very strict on his medicals.

Indi has been poor in his Porto career. At least Mangala had a superb season at Porto. The Porto fans i know never liked Indi. He can play multiple positions but he is crap in all of them. The fact that he can't displace Marcano or an 18 old nigerian named Chidozie says it all.

I am not sure why Mendes being in Monte Carlo would be a big thing.

That's where rich people go.

Definitely no point in us trying to loan you Phil Jones then either.

Isco to Spurs? Would be a great signing, that. Very good player severely wasted at RM. I know he's had problems there, application, etc, but I think he's got insane potential.

Konoplyanka to Schalke, loan with compulsory purchase clause of 15 m€
