Had a good last season, good player. They got rejected from Ghezzal earlier today, who wants to stay at Lyon.
Not really. While he's never going to set the world alight, on an individual basis, he's an important player for the Baggies. Add to that the knowledge that Arsenal are desperate for a defender and John Stones somehow being deemed worth £50m and hats off to them for demanding so much. If they get it they have money to improve the squad, if not they keep a decent defender.

Yeah that's what I was feeling earlier when I read that. But then you have to remember the circumstances that we sold him in. He had 1 year left on his contract, just had an absolutely shocking year and we wanted him out. £8m was actually very decent business in those circumstances. If West Brom were to sell Evans, they wouldn't get much more than £15m, simply because no one would be willing to pay any more.
So they would be left with Matip, Klavan and Lovren? With Clyne, Moreno and Mignolet/Karius as the rest of the defensive unit... And no midfielder who likes to defend. I wonder if Klopp is a secret United fan? Their defensive options look shocking to me.
Not sure why they are surprised. Klopp sending him home early from the preseason tour was a major call and the writing has been on the wall ever since.This news hasn't gone down well with RAWK.

There's a lot of truth in that. It was frustrating to watch especially with such senior players hardly covering themselves in any glory(yes,I'm looking at you Rojo)

I understand it from West Broms point of view, if they don't want to sell they put an overinflated price on a player and if arsenal want him that bad they'll pay it but considering we sold him for what? 6,7, 8 million or whatever it was that's fecking mental, he is isn't a 25 million pound player by any stretch of the imagination but then neither is Troy Deeney and that's my point.
Arsenal are really going to struggle this season I feel! Hopefully for them they have some decent academy players to step up or they are in a bit of trouble with their paper thin squad.
Sell them Phil Jones for a squillion quid.
Johnny Evans has been very good for West Brom and Northern Ireland. Would do a good job for Arsenal

This is what I don't really understand, if teams in the MLS can offer ridiculous wages, why can't they pay say £20m on a transfer fee?
Not sure, perhaps there is some limit? Isn't there supposed to be a wage cap as well, so they can only have 1-2 superstars on big wages?
I don't think I've ever heard of MLS teams paying big transfer fees.
How can a player with 3 years left leave without us getting a dime?
Anyway, couldn't care less about he money in this case, if we get nothing then so be it.
I'd like to see him leave as well, but Arsenal would be a worthy recipient of Fergie's comment "I wouldn't sell them a virus".
