Please be true. There is no reason to sell Januzaj at this point. The upside is just too big, his talent is immense, and we probably won't get more than 10 million at this point. Get him a decent loan (Sunderland with Moysey seems ideal) then reevalute.

Bastian would be a great pickup for a side like Spurs imo.
A bit of experience for their European games could be vital and the difference between a decent campaign or a great campaign.

Edward's been briefing! Same story all over the show.

Yeah, most likely. If there's any truth to it, I'd really like to know which PL teams are interested in him. Everton or Leicester perhaps? Can't see any of our rivals really needing him, but maybe they would take him to piss us off? Maybe Citeh so he could rotate with Gündogan?

Na don't think Pep would go for him

There's talk that Sunderland have offered £15m for Januzaj. If Bolasie is going for near £30m then we should comfortably get more than £10m for Januzaj if we were to sell.

Guardiola would rather sign Ibrahimovic than Schweinsteiger.

Ah, you're right. Forgot for a moment that Pep was the one who actually shipped him from Bayern.
But I agree with @cyberman that Spurs could be one of the interested parties. How about a team like Boro? Just promoted, but seem to have financial strength(like all PL teams) and are very trigger happy when it comes to transfers.

As long as he leaves I don't really care where he goes. Would fit nicely on Arsenal's medical table.

Boro? Doubt his wife would be too happy moving to a shite hole that is Middlesbrough! Thinking a capital club, one of the London clubs, maybe a move to PSG if it were outside the EPL.

I'm not arsed about Schweinsteiger or Janujaz, but I hope it's true that Mata is going to stay.

City would actually be the logical choice were it not for the bad blood between Guardiola/Schweinsteiger.

I'd say most of our rivals would probably like him, Liverpool as their holding midfield dictator and leader if he's still considered to have enough life left in his legs for their game, Tottenham and Arsenal for similar reasons. Even Chelsea may want him as an extra body, to play a more progressive version of Mikel's role.

Don't think anyone else could afford the wages.

I really do hope we loan Januzaj instead of selling him.
He's still young and a loan to an Prem side like sunderland, Everton etc would be great for him and great for us fans to see what he's like with a consistent amount of games. I still have hope for him.

Also same with Pereiera, would love to see him loaned within the prem

Who in the premier league can afford his wages? We won't sell to City or Liverpool. Who actually needs someone like him? Arsenal?

Someone like West Ham have been desperate to bring in a big name and might be able to afford his wages.

Also possibly Stoke and Everton.

Definitely but a buy back clause in Paddys deal. Rather we sold Blackett and kept Paddy

Bastian and Adnan are definitely going. I wouldn't mind adding Young and Fellaini to the list.

We are going to have trouble shifting Mata because his wages are fairly high, He came from Chelsea to United so he definitely is one of the top earners at United. When players are on those sort of wages its hard to get more than a couple of million for them as proved by RVP and Nani transfers.

Yet Palace and Everton can spend £30 million on average players and Watford can reject similar bids for Troy Deeney. I don't think we'd have any issue in shifting Mata if we wanted.

Mata had a fairly decent last season, everyones known since Mourinho took over Mata isn't going to be one of his players. So aren't you surprised there isn't a concrete interest in Mata from english or foreign clubs ?

I definitely think wages is the issue

Why ? They will never see the light of day under Mourinho. CBJ will be significantly better (imo) and will probably be our youth player of choice who stays.

It's really not up to us though.

We wanted to loan Welbeck too,but he didn't want that . Januzaj might not want a loan either considering how his last one went.

Where does Mata fit in our team? We have Mhki and Jesse both competing for the right wing and Rooney and Pogba in the #10 position which I personally think Mata ain't strong enough to play there anyhow.

I'm a massive Mata fan but I think the he would be better off in Spain /Italy where he can shine as he is a fantastic player and a personality to go with it.

A little sad about this one if true, felt McNair could have had a future with us. Giving it the benefit of the doubt for now though.

Thinking its more of a choice between TFM or McNair and TFM is the flavour just now and by all accounts rightly so.

I think the McNair move is good for all parties. He stands a very good chance of being a regular Premier League player but Fosu-Mensah has usurped him at United.

I expect Love to make a few appearances at Sunderland then start dropping down the leagues. Don't see much in him.

He'll just settle for a video of Jags to use in all his defensive coaching sessions.
