For all the nutters looking for Private Jets, yeah about that, you cant fly from the US to the UK via private jet, Im assuming here but Id imagine they cant quite hold the fuel required.

He will be arriving via standard chartered jet and will be landing in Heathrow most likely then be flown in via MataChopper.
Transatlantic private jet

This is bullshit on every level possible, but I'll bite: Where would he play? Midfield? He's probably better than Shaw but upgrading Shaw for 80m sounds like a stupid idea.
Alaba would prefer to play in a midfield position....left-back isn't his favourite position.
For €80 million - they would be mad not to. I like Alaba a lot - but he will never be TRULY world class - and Bayern can replace him with that kind of money - easily.
Why

Don't think any of them want to go, as the only way is down. Buying 4 new players was the easy part, ejecting the deadwood for further signings will be the hard part.

Who'd have thought that..

This parasite's got the contract of his lifetime due to LvG's fanaticsm of a left-footed CB. Poorest signing from us in a long time - he never had/will have the potential to play at a tier 1-2 club.

Interesting. I must be imagining the 30+ private jets i speak to every day that go to and from London to the US.

Parasite is a bit harsh! I'd agree that he's not "United quality" (or at least where we expect to be) but a player has the right to see out his contract he signed. Might be in the reserves but he'll have to accept it (just as BFS must also).

This is what happens when you pay stupid wages and inflated fees for absolute bang average players. I don't know why Mourinho can't just freeze him out of the squad, like he's doing to Schweinsteiger.
Happens too often. Players not arsed about leaving as they're on a wedge, we're desperate to get rid then end up selling for peanuts because nobody will match their wages.

Didn't mean it that harsh tbh.
But you're right "parasite" was the wrong the word. Nevertheless I hope we get somehow rid of him in a few months when he realises that there's absolutely no chance for him under Mou.

Jones is at least somewhat endearing with the ridiculous faces he makes. Rojo has a stupid tattoo of a diamond on his neck. What a twat.

Actually his leg tattoos make him look like at twat even more than the diamond one does IMO.

Rojo starts for a pretty good Argentina team. It would be a mistake to sell him now. Everyone complains that we get fleeced selling players in the transfer market but this is exactly the reason. You don't make money selling people while they are struggling. Look at what Jose did at Chelsea with Mata. He wasn't even playing much but Mourinho held onto him until someone was desperate enough to pay top dollar. Hopefully he employs the same strategy (and is backed up by the front office) here.

No one is stupid enough to pay this turd £80k + a week a part from Van Gaal, all normal.
Calm down. Mourinho's had some terrifying and very costly transfer duds as well. It's a mistake from van Gaal in the end but that's the game you play on the transfer market. You lose some, you win some.

Because we could still need him and he just wants to show his muscles to the squad picking out Schweinsteiger.

Romero starts too, and he is a sub for us, and was a sub for Monaco.

Its stupid when the only reason you sign someone is because they are left footed though, even when you only saw them playing as Left back in the tournament that he caught your attention.
