A handful of good games shouldn't be good enough for any player to survive....

As for Herrera he was really disappointing last season....in his defence he barely played a consistent run of games and deserved more opportunities - Herrera has proved at United he is a far more effective and talented player than Fellaini

I have no idea why Jose would want to keep such a limited player as Fellaini but then again Mikel survived at Chelsea under him....Mikel was an efficient enough defensive midfielder against lesser teams though where Fellaini's only real strength is causing a bit of chaos in the last 10 when chasing a game...an expensive tactic considering what we paid in fees and ongoing wages

The big issue with Fellaini is that to get the best out of him you need to play a certain type of football...if Jose's game plan is Moyes at Everton i will eat my shoes

It's up to Jose but I will be very surprised if the Belgian survives - much prefer to see a more mobile and better footballer like Fosu-Mensah provide backup

Firstly Herrera played at least 300 more minutes than Fellaini. Why does he deserve more than that when he wasn't good enough in the actual minutes he got and Fellaini actually played better than him?

And it's nonsense that we need to employ long ball tactics. We never resorted to that unless it was the last 5 minutes. That's something many managers do. Klopp put on a defender upfront for last 10 minutes vs us. Fellaini definitely has other uses. He won't be a starter of course but he is a much more useful player to come off the bench than Herrera. Or even mata.

Well you've obviously used the internet to see minutes played.... here's the link.... i dont need statistics to know that Herrera didn't get consistent games especially in the closing stages of the season - interesting from that link that Herrera and Fellaini performances were rated virtually identical despite Herrera having a really disappointing season and Fellaini having his usual season

Are you seriously suggesting that Fellaini is a better footballer than Herrera?

Secondly you have misunderstood my point....what I meant was that in order to get the best out of Fellaini he needs to play at number 10...are you really suggesting a PL winning club could play someone like Fellaini in the most creative position in the team? Where Fellaini was most effective he played in a very direct Everton team who moved the ball very quickly with long balls and attacking fullbacks

As for role in the team I think Herrera can fulfil more than a sub role....he proved in his first season and at Bilbao he is a very talented footballer (something Fellaini has never been) and he should be used in rotation

Finally and I agree Fellaini's key role is a last 10 minutes option....for the 28 million we paid and wages that is ridiculous for me personally - especially given our options in the past....Ole, Tevez, Hernandez were all much much more effective when used in that role and when we've kids like Rashford available Fellaini is surplus to requirements

Would agree with that Herrera doesnt deserve more minutes if he isnt performing, that should go for everybody with the odd exception of youngsters who will be inconsistent.

Do I think Herrera is a better player than Fellaini....yes Do I think he is good enough for us....sadly I dont see it as any more than a sub, shame as he seems a likable and passionate player. Hope Mourinho does get the best out of him and that it is enough but apart from our youngsters like Mensah and Perreira I wonder if come next summer any of the current crop of Schneiderlin, Herrera, Carrick, Schweinsteiger and Fellaini will be here as for different reasons I dont think any of them will be good enough

It's a Juventus fansite according to their twitter account.

#Koulibaly Agent: "He wants to leave #Napoli, but does not go to #Juventus"

Another jolt at home Napoli. With Higuain in the process of moving to Juve, another player is ready to leave the Neapolitans. Bruno Satin, Kalidou Koulibaly agent, spoke to Radio CRC of the future of the defender, recently approached several English clubs: "I was last Saturday in Dimaro, we took stock of the situation and I am not aware that we are at a point of agreement . Maybe the leaders have understood that, but the desire of the player is still to go, not to renew. also because the signals from the club are not a motivation for the guy. We say he is a great player but from ' offer (renewal, ed) does not see. "

JUVE NO, YES PREMIER - The agent of the 1991 class defender, under contract until June 30, 2019, he added: "Already last year they wanted to send us away, said he was not focused, but then with the last season has shown all his qualities. for the fans can tell you to be quiet because it will not go to Juve, is not going to promote competition. the Chelsea and Everton are still interested, looking for a central level ".
