26 million on pjanic and 15 on benatia. They have also offered 18 million for Gabigol. Dont know if they have the money or Expect a payment.
I remember last year juve signing most players on Loan to compulsary buy contracts. Now this spending spree?

We could've added another CB there with Benatia.. Maybe JM really wants to try TFM as CB maybe?! One can only hope..

Edit: Yes, we do have Bailly there.. But after Smalling and him, the quality or availability of CB is really thin..

So the only possible reason people could have for criticizing Valencia is that they don't like him? That's a bit convenient. And awful crossing/slowing down attacks/zero offensive output doesn't matter for a fullback? It's one of the most important qualities in fullbacks in today's football.

He has four assists and a goal in 22 games making him by far our most effective fullback offensively. Genuinely a significant improvement on anyone else. I'm not sure where it started but when an opinion becomes common on here it takes over everyone, theres very little actual basis for the Valencia hate in the same way theres no basis for wanting to play darmian or varela ahead of him. We all seem to agree LVG slowed down our play, so as I said in my last post with his pace he can really accelerate our play if Mourinho gets him to take more risks going forward. Crossing not good and I agree but a fullback should get the ball to the final third and then the midfielders and forwards should do the rest, anything additional is a plus. For example he has more assists than marcelo one of the best fullbacks attacking wise in world football. It is the same as when a centre back scores from a corner its great but its not why they are in the team its just a bonus.

Look Jones is a good CB..if he wasnt so brittle we would be sorted. Maybe JM can do something

A bit more Pogba money being spent. Hurry up Juve! Announce Pjaca and we can get on with things!

i posted this in another thread.

Benatia €18M
Cuadrado €20M
Pjanic €38M already paid to Roma
Pjaca €26M

so they still have to come up with €64M. And they are after Sanchez which i don't believe is possible to get him off Arsenal and even if he forced a move it will be close to Pogba's fee.

Maybe those facts will make them at least consider United's offer for Pogba.

These figures are according to Carlo Laudisa.

Its all very similar to the Bale to RM saga, when spurs were spending money like it was going out of style right up till the signing was confirmed

Do we have any Juve fans or someone with knowledge of Juve's financial situation with regards to their likely summer budget (excluding sales obviously), so we can see whether they're spending like a windfall is on the horizon..

Yes he is a good CB.. But how can we rely on someone who might miss a chunk of games and next in line is Rojo, TFM and Blind again..

I saw how JM said his teams rarely get injured(* knock on wood). I really hope we can have a decent season with less injuries..

If we have lesser injuries, I'm quietly confident about our chances and season. E last two years have been modern terms of players missing through injuries..

From what I've read Benatia is a loan with obligation to buy. We basically delay the payments by another year that way. Bayern also have Coman on loan for another year with option to buy for €21m which they will certainly exercise. Basically, when they take up the option they owe us €21m and at the same time our obligation to pay €20m for Benatia is up. Coman finances Benatia.

I doubt that we will buy both Pjaca and Cuadrado. It will be only one of them. And Pjaca might be a consideration for our attack where we had to sell Morata for €30m. So in that case that transfer is again covered by income.

We also have quite some redundant players, some of which will generate Money (Pereyra, Asamoah, Lemina, Hernanes).

Zaza is also rumored to leave, but that money will be reinvested in a striker.

So far our spending is well within our capabilities.

If Stones is worth £50 million, Rio Ferdinand was like a free transfer for us is 2002.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Are Carlo Laudisa, Massimiliano Nerozzi and their paper La Stampa still considered the best sources for Juve related matters?
