Not good enough at CB and Luke Shaw,CBJ ahead of him at Left Back. Sensible decision.

I'd be happy to see the back of Rojo but part of me almost expects Mourinho to keep him and channel his inner thug to make him more like a Pepe/Carvalho/Costa character that everyone loves to hate. Perhaps Fellaini has already filled that quota.

€120m for Pogba would be absolutely mental by the way, I don't think we'd sanction that kind of bid. I'm disappointed Palmeri didn't think it was worthy of a SUPERBOOM though.

I was thinking about it and we pulled out of Renato Sanches which Bayern will be paying 80m euros. When I look at is like that I would much rather we pay 120 for Pogba than 80 for Sanches

Agreed. I mean Pogba is grossly overpriced, but I feel that there's seems to be a double standard with Caf members, when it comes to wanting to pay for players like Pogba and James and other players that are no way near as good.

Give him another season.

Why? He's had two.

Shocking distribution as a full back and looks dodgy in nearly every away game. Part of the reason we been poor away from home. His concentration level is poor and he is rash. Good riddance.

I think Rojo should get one more chance.
That's what some people said about Darron Gibson and Tom Cleverley. I don't see the point. It's a waste of time and money. If it's obvious they aren't good enough then it's best to get rid ASAP.

You could very well be right, but I see something in him. At this point, I would give him one more chance, but if he is sold, I wish him luck somewhere else.

I'm so happy that Liverpool are signing Mane.

I remember calling him a 'Liverpool player' when we were linked with him last year. I was a bit worried. Now he's going to the real thing for 30 fecking million! Love it!

I agree. Got potential, but got a feeling he is not going to be a great player.

Whatever people on here think about him, we should support all our players. I remember a time when people here thought Mike Smalling was shit.

Everyone supports him when he's on the pitch for us, but there's nothing wrong with wanting him to feck off as he clearly isn't good enough.

Something is seriously wrong when we're celebrating the potential loss of a player as if its some sort of giant leap ahead for the club.

I doubt. I think Jose will love him as he gives a completely different option off the bench. Perfect player for Plan B.
I don't think I've ever actually seen him come on and change a game, any impact he's made has been from the start. It's usually good for a team as it means we settle for kicking it long, something which we're not very good at - and if Ibra arrives then we'll already have that option.

If it's a precursor to us replacing a fairly limited, unconvincing player with a good one then I think it's a sign we're heading in the right direction. So, in that respect, it's well worth celebrating.

It may be that he is just surplus to requirements, as in not a Mourinho type player at a time when the manager is buying more Mourinho types. Still the celebratory stuff is cringeworthy, as in its not going to improve us one bit in the absence of replacing him with better quality.
