"Manchester United is Mkhitaryan's 'dream club'. Such an offer to join Manchester United might only come once in a lifetime for a player and nobody can guarantee us that the door will still be open for Micki next season. Manchester are Micki’s dream club, he wants to join them by any means."

Raiola confirmed United have had an £18.5million offer for Mkhitaryan rejected by Borussia Dortmund but is hopeful of a 'sensible solution'.

Two things to note from this article:-

1. There's no actual mention of Arsenal beyond the title.
2. Don't bother click on the clickbait article below it entitled 'What Alyson Hannigan looks like now'. I ended up getting 2 slides into it before the spinning wheel got me stuck and the website crashed.

So, is it genuinely looking like we will sign Mkhitaryan? Are the sources reputable, or could it be a case of the agent drumming up interest for a contract extension? Educate me, Caf experts.

Glaston (when talking up Spurs and assessing United) is like knwoing the inflation ratio in sub-saharian regions of Afraica in the 1930 when talking about forecasted rainfall in Brazil in 2020's. Ie best igonred.

Very good point, I don't usually like to get involved in debates that are obvious wums or delusional but I've been a lurker for close to a decade and his posts have annoyed since then, guess having a little debate with him released the annoyance in me!

Morata had a buy back clause and Madrid are expected to sell him on for £50m+
Are we sure they really want that though? He is not the flashy galactico forward you'd usually expect.

Considering the Benzema sex-tape-blackmail case, are we sure they're not planning to keep him at least for a season in case Benzema becomes unavailable.

Of course, if they can sign someone like Aubameyang, this post is void....

Project= money.
I heard That Tancredi fella on talkshite saying that Riola is looking for 25m euros as part of his fee if Madrid want to sign Pogba and that they'll have to pay 120m euros or 90m plus Morata, he clearly only has his clients interest at heart bless him, feck knows how this bloke knows this but the presenters where bigging up his track record for transfer knowledge.

It's like the Crying Game all over again.

The source is his agent and he's giving us all a running commentary. Doesn't get much more reputable than that!

Damn it, that MEN article was a major letdown. I was hoping for some slating of Arses size and stature compared to us :(

Seems like the only genuine story. I really dont think we are in for Pogba at all. I bet we get Kante instead.

I agree, we'll most likely end up with Mkhitaryan and Kante.
If we throw £30m at BVB, Mkhitaryan will be ours IMO.

I would much rather Kante at 22-30m than Pogba at 80-100m to be fair.

Not sure we will nail down Kante though, he will be heavily sought after, with Arse seemingly interested.

At this point I dont think Pogba is worth the money Juve is asking for.
Real will want to offload Kross to accommodate Pogba and we can get Kante as well and still have money left over plus our midfield will be sorted for a very long time with those two.

We can beat Arsenal with $$ anyday to get Kante.

Mourinho loved Makelele. He played Lassana Diarra at Chelsea and Madrid.. Kante is very much in that mould.
I'm sure we have considered it.. Weather we make a move or not is another matter... But it wont be because it slipped us by.

Napoli have made 3rd and final offer of €23m for Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso (L'Equipe). Samuel Umtiti poised for €30m Barcelona switch

You rate him?

I'd barely even heard of him until we were first linked a few weeks ago. His stats seem decent (over double figures in league goals for the last three seasons) and he seems like we do not really have a player like him, so could be a useful addition. At 29 though it's hard to get excited about him signing if it's true but I have faith in Guardiola's judgement and hopefully he can be a good signing.

Yeah.

29 is a bit old and you guys have good strikers already.

I guess it's the same with us and Mourinho, its just about having trust in the manager.

Otamendi grew tired of waiting for United last season.
City just waits everybody out!

Raiola sure runs his mouth a lot. Anyway I'm happy to hear that for once we are a player's preferred destination. And a quality player at that too

From what I recall United dropped interest fairly early on. I suspect the unnecessary price tag was the reason for it and LvGs insistence on a left footed CB

But Palmeri insists the Red Devils have all-but wrapped up the deal, with Ibrahimovic signing a pre-contract agreement back in June.

“He’s signed for Manchester United,” the top Italian journalist said, speaking on the Hawksbee and Jacobsshow.

“He signed an agreement in early June. It was sent to him at the pre-Euro 2016 training camp in Sweden, he signed it and sent it back.

“It’s the pre-agreement to prepare for the move. That’s just how things work in football, it was the same with Mourinho and Manchester United.”

Tanc is convinced Ibra has already signed
