God how much do I not want Willian.
Jose OUT etc...
Jose OUT etc...
We signed Mata from Chelsea so why no Willian?
Of the two you would think Mata would be the impossible transfer.
Did they want rid of him? I remember it as Roman granting Juan a transfer because they were close friends and didn't want to hold him back. They wanted rid of Mata, Willian was comfortably their best player last season. I'd rather we didn't go for him
Talk about being ruthless, he is German and one of their own. Not good enough for them so he is being pushed out.
We won't be signing him, relax.Seriously, can someone explain why people on here suddenly rate Willian?
The guy is basically the absolute definition of average, quick? Sure. Hard working? Yeah. Technique? Fine. But even in his best season ever TM he was worse than such creative power houses as Milner, Andre Ayew and Shane Long. The sort of money he would cost he would be our record signing and he is no where near good enough for that to be the case.

Just find it somewhat ammusing that people spend all winter complaining about how average our attacking players are and how much money we waste but then get giddy at the thought of wasting even more money on a player barely better than our incredibly average attack.
Depends on if Conte wants him and if sees him as First choice too.
But strange for Jose as he tried to upgrade on him with Pedro last summer.
But apart from that? (What have Romans ever done for us)Seriously, can someone explain why people on here suddenly rate Willian?

You mean arguably the best direct free kick taker in the world?Well end product would be nice? And an absolute prerequisite for someone we are spending £70m odd on.

What next? The best dribbler in the world?
What next? The best dribbler in the world?
Considering he wasn't Chelsea's main corner taker (Fabregas) - probably not as good as Jones or Blind though!5 Free Kick Goals
3 Assists from Corners
Not too shabby for 1 season tbf.
Out of curiousity, how many fans would have called Wllian great 3 days ago? We get linked to him a he's the best ever. This place at times!![]()
Jose is out of the way, let's troll.
I've always found Willian a great player, I found him very good at Shakthar, I wanted us to sign him badly when he was available as Anzhi and whenever I watched Chelsea, he has always stood out as one of their best players. He is a good winger, quick, adapted to the PL, likes to work under Mourinho and he would bring a fair share of goals and assists that we have been lacking from the right side.
I don't think we could much better than Willian to be honest if we wanted to go for a RW. Yes Mahrez after this season maybay but I think getting Mahrez is more difficult than getting Willian.
I sure like the idea of Willian more than Mané

NonsenseI might jump of the nearest bridge if we sign this clown. Just play Valencia on the right wing and he'll rack up the same shit stats that Willian does. Only we won't be paying 30m for the privilege of watching Willian run up an down with zero end product.
Perhaps the most overrated player in the league. I'd rather pay 30m for Mane.
Built a lot of roads. But apart from that? (What have Romans ever done for us)
