The worst thing they did with the new season was starting Mike's new job with a fight against Harvey.
They should have sent Rachel to law school and given Mike a full season to develop in his new job with Harvey (and the firm) as his lawyer. So much potential, even Mike's new assistant was pretty interesting in my opinion. Instead they used the new job to reset everything back to the beginning of season 3 as soon as possible, really everything is back to the worst possible moment of the show. They even brought the annoying 'Rachel is unhappy with Mike being a fraud at Pearson-Spector' - storyline up again at the end of the last episode with Mike's final comment.
And why did they completely stop using Mike's brain? His gift is completely gone, I don't think he used his eidetic memory once in season 3 or 4. I always liked the 'supernatural' factor in the show, because it meant the show didn't take itself too seriously and all the unrealistic bullshit in the show didn't look out of place. Now it's different and the unrealistic stuff really bothers me.
