Television Suits

This show is so ridiculously unrealistic in all aspects. I don't know why this didn't bother me before but it does now.

Same thing crossed my mind. I guess it's down to the fact that it was quite entertaining in the first couple of seasons whereas now it's just tedious.

I agree with all of the above. I'd rather watch re-runs of the firsts season than the current one. The new case every week was so much better. They drag one case out practically through an entire season now. Harvey v Mike is fecking awful.

Not watched last night's yet but not expecting anything good.

It used to be fun, bring back the fun!

Didn't notice this thread until now and thought it was a thread where we can discuss different suits, colors, shapes and fabric. Got a little disappointed :P

Oh for feck SAKE, the perfect opportunity to end the Rachel and Mike bullshit and you already know they'll be back to normal next episode.

I stumbled through the last season and looking at the comments about this season, I think I'll just avoid it to be honest.

Thank god they've ended the Mike and Rachel love story. Hopefully they will get him and Harvey back to the badass lawyering they used to do now. Oh, and that slow smile Donna gave in that episode, just

I think this season is a bit better than last, they've tried to change things up a bit and I am quite enjoying it at the moment.

Wow! Just wow!
Why wow? I didn't enjoy last season and the general feeling I'm getting about this season, not just from the Caf, is that it's going down a similar route. @Castia has said this season is better than last, I may watch it at some point.
It's okay for me to not enjoy a show anymore, right.

its not better. Most conflict are artificially created and make little sense. The characters are more wishy-washy than ever. I´d like to see a bit more of the bad-ass attitude from the first season or meaningful development.

Last episode was unbearable, couldnt get through it. Really really hope they mobe past the tedious drama for something better.

It's not better than season 1-2 that's for sure but I hated last season. At least this time around they made some changes, the ''OMG Mike didn't go to Harvard?'' shit is terrible.

You can bet that is going to come back along with lois money laundering as the key points for the next two seasons. The future is looking really grim.

Mike vs Rachel fighting over a fecking kiss. Come on. We all know how it will end. I could write a better love story in 5 minutes. Mike leaving the company was a great opportunity to develop a new setting. Well....now he is just walking back in, ignoring all reasons why he left. Its already obvious, that the "omg he didnt go to harvard" shit is coming back in a second. The problem is, that him leaving was the only reasonable solution to solve this conflict, so it inevitable that they will come up with some bullshit in the future. Letting him fail is not really an option and letting him leave again would be ridiculous.

The most annoying thing is, that harvey´s role/character lost all sharpness. He was devised as straight tough guy. Now he makes compromises for everyone. Thats just boring.

You should probably spoiler some of that!

Watched the last 5 episodes over the weekend and it got even worse :( .

The worst thing they did with the new season was starting Mike's new job with a fight against Harvey. They should have sent Rachel to law school and given Mike a full season to develop in his new job with Harvey (and the firm) as his lawyer. So much potential, even Mike's new assistant was pretty interesting in my opinion. Instead they used the new job to reset everything back to the beginning of season 3 as soon as possible, really everything is back to the worst possible moment of the show. They even brought the annoying 'Rachel is unhappy with Mike being a fraud at Pearson-Spector' - storyline up again at the end of the last episode with Mike's final comment.

And why did they completely stop using Mike's brain? His gift is completely gone, I don't think he used his eidetic memory once in season 3 or 4. I always liked the 'supernatural' factor in the show, because it meant the show didn't take itself too seriously and all the unrealistic bullshit in the show didn't look out of place. Now it's different and the unrealistic stuff really bothers me.

Bold is spot on.

Also yea, no need for spoilers for anything that has aired anywhere in the world, if people don't want things spoiled they should stay out of the thread until they're up to date.

Anyone else think Luis has become a bit ridiculous? And they need to lose that Morris Chestnut guy asap.

yep. Louis was the only non-stereotypical character in the series; he was pretty interesting and they started to use him and his idiosyncrasies too often and in too many different, contradicting ways. He had his affection with this cat, his opera/ballet thing, his weird sex-life/relationship, the "i-want-to-be-like-harvey" issue, love/hate relationship with mike, his general creepiness/weirdness, his dictaphone and many more small things. They had to add so many asininities to make that work, that the character became a bit foolish.

HOLY SHIT!
God damn Louis. This isn't going to end well for anyone. Cahill is going to find that transaction in those files. But what happens if Louis is indicted on those charges? As in whats the bigger picture? How big of a trouble are Harvey and Mike and the firm in?

I don't think I've ever loved a character in a TV show, movie or video game as much as I love Louis Litt. He's hilarious. Writing a list of TV couples then scratches out the Lannisters, his letters to the cat, his cock line, everything about him is fecking brilliant

A bit rich of Mike to be that pissed off about Rachel cheating on him considering his own history.

If they write him out, I'm not sure I could watch the programme anymore. He is possibly top of my list of favourite tv characters, and the show wouldn't be half of what it is without him. It is really good at the moment though in my opinion, I'm enjoying the storyline a lot. I wish that they kept the Rachel exodus going on for longer though, relationships in these sort of programmes are so tedious. Would not be against seeing Harvey and Donna together, mind you.

You might be right but the situation here is how Mike felt about that guy (can't remember his name). His past with Rachel was what pissed off Mike so much.
