Suarez bites | "sorry for falling into him and biting him and that"

There's something about this that fills me with immense satisfaction. Mainly because Liverpool have backed him so vehemently and he's stated many times that he's 'changed'.

There's no defending this one (Yet again), if Liverpool try to back him they're going to look stupid (Again) and if they don't back him, he's going to leave. It's win, win.

If Liverpool do decide to sell they won't get anywhere near the £80 million that's being quoted, it's obvious he's damaged goods.

In regards to the ban, it will be substantial, he'll miss the rest of the tournament for sure and more than like 10 games or so in the Premiership or where ever he is come August. He definitely won't get a two year ban, I reckon 15 games.
He wont get a club ban though just an international ban which will benefit liverpool if anything thats the shitty kicker in the whole thing.

All this outrage towards suarez is so ridiculous. Yeah he deserves a ban but people ae going overboard with this lifetime ban/club ban nonsense.

what balotelli did in the same match was much more dangerous, he could have killed him

Fifa have the authority to ban him from club football.

I won't be surprised if he gets a 2-3 month ban from football. This is his third strike, and I do think that he'll be banned from club football as well.

That's the only unfortunate thing about this, it probably won't stretch to a ban at club level.

I just hope they come down heavy on him, if this ends up being a ban but only if he does something similar in the next 12 months then it's a joke.

That Balotelli challenge wouldn't look anywhere near as bad if the defender would have jumped for the ball also and Balotelli doesn't have a track record of kicking people in the head. Sure, there are worse tackles than this every season but Suarez has bit someone, again, for the third time. I personally think this was his tamest bite yet but non the less, how deranged do you have to be to think it's acceptable to bite someone at any point in your life? Regardless of the situation, I don't even think I've been in a fight where I've wanted to bite someone.

His life motto, "One craziness a year". He lives life on the edge. Good man, always entertaining us. But fecker was 1 game late. Would have strengthen his "English media are biassed towards me" claim.

I'd put money on this not being his last incident. Hell, I'd put money on this not being his last bite.

FIFA can ban him from playing in what ever competition they like.

Yes Balotelli has history of stamping and kicking other's head.

However, FIFA allow national football associations to have jurisdiction over their own leagues.

These things are often dictated by precedent. Have FIFA ever banned a player from playing any football for an on-field foul? These things are usually more to do with fraud and match-fixing. It's surely more likely that he will get a World Cup ban as that's the competition he committed the offence.

Has any other player ever bitten three other players????

I agree he is far more likely to just get an international ban, but FIFA CAN ban him from playing where ever they like.

Here's the incident of him not biting Chiellini. Where's the picture of him doing so? Either there is one or the Brazilian media are just creating a further storm.
"Tried." "Tried" to bite him. There is a clue in his post.

Well done, you absolute moral compass you.
Aahhhh, the moral compass point. It's not as if every other post on football forums don't fall into that bracket, is it? Heck, the faux outrage about stuff that goes on in a game from fans usually reaches ludicrous levels. I include this Suarez incident, which is obviously bad, but most are simply basking in the "outrage" of it all. Bit like fans did when Giggs' stuff came out - people love a bit of sanctimonious rage when it comes to opposition players and their naughty behaviour.

This website doesn't screw around, tbh. Very reliable. But it is in a light-humored blog section. Who knows

actually FIFA could ban him from playing in any professional league as long as they are associated to FIFA, which most if not all are.

this is what happened to Salvador "Chava" Carmona, Mexican player who tested positive twice/three times for illegal substances.
basically FIFA retired him from football at 28 years old. he even went to courts to appeal but nothing happened.

but this was not for an on-field foul.

To be honest, I'm simply laughing and kinda smiling that Suarez will give us a comedy gold mine from RAWK, we all know he's a nutcase.

I'm more worried about the scouse (or probably just RAWK), it seems that the previous Thatcher administration poisoned their water supply or probably experimenting some mind control mechanism there, the amount of shits they come up with to defend Suarez is mindbogglingly cringeworthy

1. It was ok, nobody died
2. It's not life / career threathening
3. The FIFA will make a meal and trying to persecute him (well, nobody forces him to bite)
4. It was not a bite, it was a headbutt gone wrong ... Attempted headbutt
5. Cantona was way worse
6. The live TV Coverage is actually photoshopped... imagine what they can photoshopped on Iraq
7. Chielini was lying and Suarez really didn't bit him

And the way they downplay the whole thing by bringing up things from the past, oh the hypocrisy. I know it's just a football match and as disgusting as the bite is, it's just a game of football and nobody dies, but the way they dismiss it because they see it as "no physical harm done" simply to defend him is annoying.

And not to mention the Uruguay team seems to be fully behind him (which is stupid), I'd be pretty pissed off and probably give him a proper bollocking behind the screen. The Uruguayan have played well and managed to qualify, and Suarez just blows everything up, not to mention they probably can't play him for this world cup again.

So much for ruining the football for the whole nation, beck was crucified for much less.

The clue is in the bias. That picture concludes nothing. No evidence he tried to bite him in that picture. You can probably screen grab a lot of incidents thank make them look something they're not.

Bloody hell, isn't yesterday enough? Inventing past crimes is just the cherry on the cake for some.

To be honest, the FA can join in the witch hunt and slap him with a ban of their own (revenge for England?)

Not that I care, but it is not that far from impossible.

The thing is, what can he get from doing all those stupid things? He won't win a peno since the ball wasn't even there, Chiellini has no feud with him, Italy already down to 10 men, and it's not actually over yet, they're still a man more than Italy and can still score.

What's difficult to understand what RedPersie is trying to do? He said what Balotelli did is very dangerous as if red cards and punishments are dished out based on the physical harm caused. What happens if a player pulls out his cock and waves in his opponent's face? No injury right? Does he walk free? What happened when Bendtner revealed his shorts with another sponsor's name? No harm done yeah?

There's no faux outrage anywhere, the only ridiculous level is the defending of Suarez that you fickle lot do. If he played for anybody else than God given Liverpool, you'll get on your stupid fecking high horse and cry mighty. What happened when Giggs' stuff came out? Sorry, are you a bit thick?

I just found it odd that you were requesting footage of an actual bite when he clearly said they are talking about him trying to bite the same player.

I agree the pic proves nothing.

Well done for missing pretty much my whole point.

Well, you don't have a point. You seem to think it's all just ridiculous made up outrage by opposition fans, who want to see Suarez punished severely. It's nothing like it, he's a serial biter and a coward who fakes injuries when he does something completely mental and thinks he can get away with it. He can get away with just about anything. He can rock up to a Hillsborough memorial and do a Charles Itandje and your lot may not have a problem with it.

You think the entire problem is in the of opposition fans. No, it's with Suarez.

Is he some kind of human zombie or what? If an Apocalypse starts, I rather suicide than to be bitten by him.

Anyway, I guess it has been a bad world cup for Rawk? Gerrard assist to Suarez who eventually stole the spot light back from Gerrard.

I disagree. It's obvious that he didn't bite him. But it sure looks like he wanted to. He's looking at Chiellini's shoulder as if it were a juicy hungara (Uruguayan version of frankfurters).

Yeah you could probably screen grab lots of incidents where players look they're about to bite someone else, but how many do you know that have actually done it?

Enter bias.

See:

A different spin on what?

The criticism of him in there is about him not learning from previous mistakes and being unaware of the implications of his actions - not once have you actually condemned or criticised the fact that he bit another player. The fact he bit someone is what you're trying to put another spin on (much like most of the Liverpool fans on RAWK it seems). It's the whole "Is biting someone really that bad in the grand scheme of things? I've seen dozens of Paul Scholes challenges worse than what Suárez did there". If he wasn't a Liverpool player you would never, ever react that way.

my first post on here after lurking for a fun few years:

Player " I don't know if I want to play against Uruguay/Liverpool/Suarez, as my employer is not providing me with a safe workplace....

Most are entitled to a safe workplace? (those that aren't are for a different thread, which I would gladly discuss another time)

So what does Liverpool/EPL/FIFA say in defense of that Q????

Uruguay next opponent in WC= Were not playing against him, he's mad???

So what next for FIFA??????
