Sturridge - Sky’s new entertainer :(

I take it back.

It’s like take your kid to work day, he just can’t have his say without sounding like an 8 year old.

He spoke relatively sensibly throughout, then turned into a teenager when interviewing Salah

Maybe I'm too old but I cringe when hearing a grown man keep on about vibes, bro, yo and similar to a footballer who clearly doesn't share the same lingo.

He's an unbearable gobshite. You can tell he's an utter knobhead by the teams he's played for. You can't play for Liverpool, Chelsea, and City and expect to come out unscathed.

The way Keane looks at him every time he finishes giving his opinion is hilarious. He just comes across as someone who doesn’t really know what he’s talking about.

Keanes face when Sturridge was greeting Salah was a picture. :D

No, it's not an age thing, he's just trying too hard to be a vibes man and has no idea how to read a room. I didn't think his cringe-worthy goal celebration dance was a reflection of who he really was as a person, but it appears to be the case.

An excellent point, Daniel. Xavi and Iniesta were no good for Barcelona and Messi’s career really only took off when he left the Camp Nou.

I tell you what, these pundits really are exceptional. They provide objective insight that no one else can.

Gerrard won one Champions League, one UEFA Cup, two FA Cups and three League Cups.

Wes Brown won two Champions Leagues, two FA Cups, two League Cups, and the small matter of five Premier League titles, and he's basically a footnote in the pages of most decorated Manchester United players, and that's just us.

in fairness he has a point

Of course, thats if you ignore the likes of Maldini, Scholes , Giggs, Neville, Xavi, Irwin, Brown, Puyol, Baresi, keane, Carrick, Rooney....I really could keep going. Thats naming a small % of people thats "achieved more at one club"

Sturridge is a clown. The local Jester at Sky sports

Surely he's on the windup

Trent has achieved more at Liverpool than Gerrard did and he's only like 25

This is the problem when someone decides to snip a few words out of what I imagine would have been quite a long conversation.
