Very sad, strange that I know about 3 people who beat this cancer with the same name, but I understand there are about 70 classification of NHL.

RIP, shame to see him go this way. Way too young. :(

RiP

That seemed pretty fast ? I thought they said he was fine 6 months ago ?

I just finished Gods of the Arena yesterday, and was reading up on Whitfield and his condition with hopes of maybe him returning in some capacity at one point.

Terrible, terrible news. RIP.

Starz released episode 1 for webview for US viewers. There are of course, terrible ways for us to obtain it too.

Good opening, will take getting used to the new Spartacus, but there's still loads of gore and tits.

OMG - just read this. Tragic - the guy was so amazing as Spartacus in this series. What a tragic loss of talent. may he rest in peace. :(

Hmmm, not so sure about this third series now, how can anybody replace him, esp after how the actor has fully owned and defined the character. :(

The first episode leaked, probably by Starz themselves.

It feels a bit weird with the new Spartacus, but the fact we haven't seen him since Blood and Sand, kind of helps.

It didn't leak, Starz aired the first episode online for US viewers only. The subsequent torrents were rips of it.

im going to watch it when it officially airs...besides i dont want a two week gap between the first two episodes.

just saw the first episode. yeah, very odd without the original Spatacus. This new guy does not have that 'unruly' energy about hom. TBF, its only the first episode, so I;ll give him a few episodes to see how he grows into the role.

Was disappointed with the blood and gore, now new effects revealed yet that have shown innovation/progress on making gory body/head slashing look anymore wonderfully grotesque!
