I'm sure he must add to the team, or he wouldn't be starting every week. But these predictions of goalscoring prowess seem wide of the mark:

He's far more like Craig Bellamy and nothing like Heskey.

Not bad overall but he has not cemented a place in a very good spurs side
Watched him a few times, I think he's a pretty good player.
I haven't followed the Spurs but when he was in Bundesliga I thought that he had a problem with the finition, he misses easy chances and used to take the wrong decisions.
He's an absolute animal in FM16.
The main problem with him is that he's not involved too much in a game. He's not a player you play quick short passing with and he doesn't have great technical ability. He has an amazing shooting technique though and in general his scoring record is really good. In Hamburg and Leverkusen he was also regularly scoring in the big games against Dortmund or in the CL.
I feel like he's not being used properly by Tottenham until now, he's the perfect second striker imo but he is by no means a wing player who will put crosses in the box for the striker.
There's no reason to write him off though, people were very quick to judge Firmino after his first few games for Pool but he's been one of the players who carried that team in the last months. Son needs to find his role in the team and he can be a very good addition to the Spurs team.

Agreed with above, Son, if played, should be a shadow striker or a AM. He has less of a passing ability but the shooting... it's good. And he seems to have a good fitness too.
It's the kind of players you could coach to fight for the team while having some interesting technical abilities.

He holds onto the ball too long at times. Good engine though.
Not sure how those are worked out, but in the league Martial has 7 goals and 4 assists from 21 appearances, while Son has 2 goals and 1 assist from 19 appearances.
He's come off the bench a lot. Martial has started nearly every game.

Heskey? wtf. He's more like a technically gifted Park Ji Sung. similar to Park of PSV where he was more attack minded.
I'd love to see him as a squad player here.. really enjoyable to watch and I think for the token far eastern player. . there isn't none better than this guy.
His goals record might be poor but I find his all round game very impressive.. very difficult to get the ball off him and he is like Willian in terms of work rate.

He apparently still has his mandatory 2 years of military service to do back in Korea, unless of course the national team do well in their next tournament. The players in the squad get a free pass in that case!
Good player, always impressed me for Leverkusen. He's doing the job for Spurs that I hoped Kagawa would do for us but he disappointed us all.
though presumably they cant deport him off the streets of London and bundle him off to Korea and make him do the service?

A lot in this thread (me included) rate him here. I'd happily have him in our squad.
He'd get a game on the right for us ahead of Lingard any day of the week.
He would get game time here, but nothing suggests we should have bought him or buy him now. Decent player, nothing special. Piling up squad palyers isnt the way forward.
