Whats elaving?

I don't want to suffer your shit fuelled wrath mate so I'd appreciate it if you let me know...

So where's RVN going then?

The Stam of 99 was world class. The Stam we sold to Lazio was a Donkey in comparison. I don't want him back unless he has regained the pace he lost which seems very doubtful (but not impossible).

D'oh...

Anyways, Rednews are the only site (of any reputation) reporting anything which links to this story. So, hopefully it's all bollocks.

The explanation is obvious to me!

;)

For the last couple of weeks we have all been up at the crack of dawn watching three matches a day
pissed as rats?

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Then it stops for a day....

Some Cnut sobers up... feels bored,

and starts this rumour!

Sounds about right. No coincidence that there hasn't been footie to watch for a day or two and suddenly all this springs from the woodwork (and no-one come back to say there have been rumours before - there are always rumours. It's just strange there's nothing to do today and BANG Ruud and Keano could be leaving).
Still, though, following all this I'll be a little nervous getting out of bed on July 5...

Maybe you should get on to Sir Alex and tell him the sports management company is untrustworthy, because they leak confidential information about the club to people who have no right to know and who in their turn spread the leaks further to public internet forums.

He might be so grateful he'd buy you dinner himself.

keano well maybe but all good things come to an end.

nobody's mentioned beckham yet!!! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

I was talking to his gardner and he said that becks had a row with the guy who sells hotdogs in OT and that a decision was made whether which one should go and becks drew the short straw.

although beckham leaving?? you never know  <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" /> <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" /> <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

Agreed it probably is just Veron.
Though the "inspirational" tag hardly applies to seba, can't imagine Ferguson selling Keane, for the money he would get ,he is worth alot more to us than what another club would be willing to pay for him.

just told a mate about it, and he reckons that stam is probably coming back, he also said he heard a rumour that keano was doing some manager courses and is going to retire early like cantona

sorry to post more rumours but its just really worrying me!!

I'd hate to see Keano retire early, but maybe he is after burning himself out, the way the man has played throughout his career, there is a possibility of this. I think you could definitely see him on the coaching staff over the years, interesting article in the observer from a few weeks back.......<a href="http://www.observer.co.uk/worldcup2002/story/0,11031,722545,00.html" target="_blank">Roy Keane: the man who wanted more</a>

MAYBE BARTEZ wants to go back to france, maybe Yorke wants to STAY, maybe Veron wants to sign a 10 year deal, maybe OGS wants to leave cos Ronaldo Rivaldo and Ronaldinho are coming, Maybe Giggs wants to retire, maybe Ferguson retires leaving Querioz in charge, maybe Ruud wants to go

BUT DON'T START ANY RUMORS ABOUT KEANO LEAVING CNUTS !!!!

Ok so Keano's not leaving any cnuts, would you calm down

didn't fergi say that rudd was starting training early so that he can get his fittness level better for the coming season.cos at the closeing of last season he was a bit tried ,so that put the rudd rumour to bed he is not going anywhere.

We always seem to reveal new signings at the start of July, we signed sheringham on the 4th july

5th of July is my Birthday, It will be a great day for United

Useless fact of the year: We signed Keano on my birthday.

the business yr runs from july 1st to june 30th,
so fot the sake of the books most transfers are delayed until then.

I'm worried that there's something behind all these rumours about Ruud and that he's had a serious bust-up with Fergie.

We all know that he wasn't happy about not starting the Arsenal match. I was at that match and at the end when the Arsenal players ran to the visitors end, most of the United players started trudging off. But Ruud stood in the middle of the pitch by himself for a long time before taking off his United shirt, kissing it and throwing it into the crowd. After the match, I read on another forum that that's what he did in his last match for PSV Eindhoven.

I also thought it was odd that Fergie didn't start him against Charlton given the fact that he had a chance for the Golden Boot. I know that he had the groin injury but he'd been playing with that for weeks. I'm sure Ruud would have been desperate to play.

If they'd had a big bust up it would explain a lot of things...especially why United's even listening to any offers for him.

Question for An Extremely Boring Man and Ruddy: do your sources say this is done and dusted or is there still a chance it won't happen?

I'm still holding out hope it won't happen...even if it means Ronaldo doesn't come to Old Trafford.

And as for Keano...the thought of losing him AND Ruud is just too much...

I'm still holding out for evidence this isn't all a piece of crap. So he through his shirt to the crowd, so what? He was dropped an hour before the match, and three hours later he was saying his goodbyes?

What nonsence. The drivel people would think about when they try to rationalize a situation.

Well, maybe the rumours is true, just not accurate.

Ruud gets rest cure
Tuesday, 04 June 2002
MANCHESTER United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes Ruud van Nistelrooy will return an even better player next season - because of Holland's failure to qualify for the World Cup.

Van Nistelrooy had a sensational debut season for the Reds following his £18.5m move from PSV Eindhoven, scoring 36 goals in all competitions, breaking a series of records along the way and claiming the PFA player-of -the-year award.

But the physical demands of a gruelling Premiership and Champions League schedule - after a year out with cruciate knee ligament damage - began to take their toll on the Dutchman in the final two months of the season.

And Ferguson believes Holland's surprise absence from the finals in the Far East, following their failure to qualify, will be a blessing in disguise for his star striker, even though he desperately wanted to play in the summer showcase.

"It won't do him any harm," Fergie said.

"He was out for a year and then had a full season with us. He showed signs of tiredness towards the end and I''m hoping the rest he's got at the moment will help him.

"He's on holiday now and will back probably towards the end of June. We're going to put him on a programme of endurance and work and I think next year he'll be a even better player.

"It was a fantastic first season. I thought he would maybe show a sign of tiredness earlier but he came through fantastically and hit a great bout of scoring in December through to January and February.

"But at the end of March and April he started to show that sign of tiredness that I thought would happen."

Bollocks to Ruud leaving

Look...I'm just repeating what I've read and what I saw. Because, trust me, no one wants Ruud to stay more than me.

Do you seriously think these web sites would put up a headline like this....

"There's really nowt going on at OT these days, most players are either on holiday or at the WC. We haven't got any transfer news at all so check back after the WC is over, maybe we'll have something for you then."

FFS everybody, websites need hits, you mugs do that then believe everything you read.

Relax, when something happens, it happens, there's nowt we can do about it 'til then but speculate, trouble is, some of you have taken speculation to a whole new level.

Its probably something very minor, the quote gives me the impression that it's the players decision, whatever it is (we'll find out on the 5th of July I guess), and that it's one of our players. That rules out any sales and purchases. A player 'wanting' to leave is the most likely answer, and with it being one of our 'inspirational' players (it should, but won't) rule out Veron. It's not Beckham, he's just signed-on. Yorke, it wouldn't be a shock. Ruud, I very much doubt, same for Giggs. Keano, well there's a chance, very slim. There are a number of others, maybe Micky Butt or Scholes, or as mentioned Solskjaer, although all these players have commented on their happiness fairly recently. As has Barthez.

Silvestre? A player who wants a new contract, wants to play in a different position, and was fairly 'inspirational' last season. Likely answer IMO.
