Solskjaer's legacy and his future

Guys, it's all very simple!

Mourinho? The most successful.
Solskjær? The most entertaining.
Van Gaal? The best press conferences.
Moyes? The most Scottish.
Hotel? Trivago.

Now go on with your lives! Need I remind you that we have Ten Hag, Varane, Martinez, Casemiro, Eriksen and Bruno?
Fantastic post. Thanks for that I truly laughed out loud. Trivago. That's fantastic.

He had "bad luck" in the sense we got drawn against City in back to back league cup semis, but I didn't include them because we weren't favourites and it's only the league cup.

The FA cup and Europa were the big targets for the team at the stage we were at and he failed whenever a semi-decent side came along every single time.
Proper answer from someone with a clue. Thanks by the way.

Funny the inacceracies in here since yesterday alone: "Only manager post-Fergie to get us CL 2 years on the bounce" and "got us to two cup finals". The mental gymnastics to paint his tenure in a positive light is one thing, but the blatant lies are fecking hilarious
Are the any factual wrongs? I mean, one could undermine the best away record, the goals or Man City wins to one’s agenda. But the stats don’t lie, do they? What your subjective take on it really don’t count.

It's factually wrong. Jose got us into two CL tournaments back to back.

That's what we were reduced to. Embarrassing.

Ole left us a broken club. It was during his reign we made the worst investments ever. 80M for Maguire, 50m for AWB, 35m/DVB, 20m for Amad and 10m for Pellistri and 350k/wk for a goalkeeper have all left the club on it's knees financially. It's insane we actually offered Pogba 300k/ wk for a new contract. Maguire, AWB and DVB have little to no resale value especially on current salaries and are contributing next to nothing. Also if we sold Pogba earlier he wouldn't have walked away for free. Yes we had about 4 yrs to decide if he was good enough to persist with. Never underestimate the potential damage from offering an Ocean-liner like United to an unqualified Captain.

Mourinho as well was guilty for 75m for Lukaku and 89m for Pogba but at least Lukaku was re-sold for similar amount.

Oh don't be so melodramatic. If we were a "broken club", the blame is squarely at Woodward's door. It's his complete scattergun approach to transfers and managerial/staff appointments that brought us to the very pits. The deterioration started the minute he took the reins and continued until the day he left.

Yup, was a 3-year shit-show.

The worst part of all was all our players stagnating under him. Fat load of good even if we had world class players in the squad, he wasted 3 years of their careers and all of them will never recover from that.
