I wasn't taking about the stadium renovation.
Well in that case I've no idea why you quoted me. Because I've only been discussing Old Trafford.

Wth is this even supposed to mean?Get a grip.
Wth is this even supposed to mean?
It's not that far-fetched unless you actively live under a rock and have missed what's come out from the club in the last year. Read what the other person responded to my post. It’s supposed to mean that, while the Glazers are shite bla bla bla, ridiculous theories like ‘FDJ stories have stopped because we won a game’ sounds extremely far fetched.

With pressure mounting on Favre already, he has disagreed on a variety of issues with former Cardiff City director Iain Moody who the Swiss sees as focusing on his own preferred transfer targets rather than the coach’s. The signing of former Juventus and Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is a key example, as Favre was against signing the 31-year-old but Moody pushed the deal through regardless. Favre is also against the possible departure of young defender Flavius Daniliuc to Italy with little cover in that area of the squad.
The financial muscle of the INEOS-owned project was a key motivator in Favre’s return to France but he’s now questioning whether the club actually has the financial potential to match his ambitions of a return to Ligue 1’s podium by the end of the season.
The guy wrote a long post, and you highlighted a single portion of it and said you can't be bothered with the rest. He again explained the bigger picture about the Glazer ownership. You replied to the second post again quoting about the stadium re-design and how Old Trafford was state of the art in 2005. I replied to your post and said explicitly that I loathe the glazers but his general point about the bigger picture of Glazer ownership is valid.
English isn't my first language and I'm sorry that I have to explain this multiple times to you.
He's a bullshitter, don't expect him to do anything but talk rubbish.Has Knighton launched his bid yet?

Can't he just put a cheeky 5 billion public bid just to stoke the flames a little bit?
That's all nonsense, you can't do a "hostile takeover" when the owners have the majority share it's just not possible. The only way is to pay what the Glazers want.Yeah we know that, but wasn’t he supposed to launch a hostile takeover? Im just thinking if he does that maybe other potential buyers will come out. Surely JR can’t be the only one interested
Hostile bid, not takeover. Pretty much make them an offer they cant refuseYeah we know that, but wasn’t he supposed to launch a hostile takeover? Im just thinking if he does that maybe other potential buyers will come out. Surely JR can’t be the only one interested

He went to the Post Office on Wednesday to withdraw his funds to give to the Glazers but the queue was too big.Has Knighton launched his bid yet?
I do think he cannot just go making offers but an opening bid at about 3.5-4bn would be good to energise the fans and the campaign as a whole.
Having said that, I'm sure he's got plenty of smart people on the job to push this through if he's really serious.

Those are worth peanuts control-wise IIRC. It's the A-class shares that have 1 vote to 10 for the B class the snakes hold.Surely if he's serious, he should start by cleaning up the shares already on the market?

How do you buy the Glazer shares, consolidating the majority of control, against their will?yea you can
it just means the board are against it but you still manage to acquire enough shares
Surely he can still put in a £40m bid even though theres literally not a chance in hell of it getting accepted? Just need a bid in to get the ball rolling so to speak.

That just reminds me of the time when Arsenal made that laughable offer for Suarez.
The Glazers have the lions share so even if all the other shares were bought, it would mean diddly squat to the Glazers control of the club. No buyer is going to convince them to turn on the interest of their own family.yea you can

That's the problem they will end up borrowing 300 million to revamp OT, the pay back 500 million to some investment company. Apparently they have not even spoken to Jim. We need to continue getting these leaches out of our club.Given that theses Glazer scumbags aren’t even talking to SJR, the fans need to unite and push these cretin out. Sadly, the Liverpool result and Casimero signing, has given this fanbase amnesia. When SJR’s interest finally cools and there are no viable suitors, the people who buy the jersey and continue to attend matches should never complain about the ownership.
