Should we consider selling Pogba?

Great player, sucks it never worked out how we wanted. He is going to tear it up in Spain or Italy where you have a little more time on the ball, get ready for the threads when he is pinging around world class long balls. He's just not always up for the pace, pressure and defensive responsibilities of the Premier League.

I would take 60-70 mil euros for him in a heartbeat.

He should at the very least go for what we paid for him.

We would be doing really well to get 70 million for him. More like 45/50 ish i say.

I keep seeing we should get what what we paid for him but he's older, nearly end of contract and hasn't delivered during his time here. It ain't happening.

What are the chances of offloading him in January?

Are there enough clubs interested in him to get a bidding war going , probably not , and those who are interested are most likely looking to get him in on the cheap or for nothing with his contract winding down.

Realistically how much would we get for Pogba this January? £50m?

Pogba doesnt fit in here, i hope to see him sold in January for upwards £80mil. Hes largely failed at United. Use the money wisely to buy a defensive midfield dynamo and a right winger.

Wonder who we could get off Madrid if we chucked in De Gea with Pogba?
De Gea’s a far bigger worry than Pogba. At least Pogba is clear that his ambition is greater than this. De Gea’s just going to continue to regress and pick up his paycheque for years and years to come.

And I thought Petr Cech coasted on his reputation for years. At least with him, you could sympathise with suffering a terrible injury and not being on a silly contract.

Just sell him.. or play him in the Europa .. every Thursday

Do you think he might have started if Riola hadn't spoken??

Paul doesn't have to fear about his future after United, that much is clear after tonight. Wish I could say the same about the club as well...

100% we should sell Paul Pogba.

Hopefully we can find a buyer for him.

He is of course a brilliant football player when he wants to be.

Physically he appears to be suited to the premier league but he doesn't use his physicality to much benefit.

He is much more suited to a less physical league which is played at a more tactically slower pace. This isn't me criticising him, just my honest assessment of his style of play.

This is why he likely thrived in Italy. Not to mention playing alongside Pirlo.

Pirlo is the manager at Juve now too so you would think he would know exactly how to get the best out of him.

I would love us to get what we paid for him but realistically I think 60/70M is what we're looking at.

The club need to reinvest this (and some) and bring in a quality CDM.

I'd be happy with Rice, Ndidi or Casemiro.
But that simply will not happen. Keep Dreaming!

This could be telling
I read today that the board are saying that they made a big mistake in taking Pogbas side against Jose, too right they did, but the bigger mistake was buying Pogba in the first place. They should get rid of him asap, even though I doubt any club will offer more than 40 million for him, but we should take it and end the long, sad saga.

They have made so many mistakes in the last seven years and this is just another in a long line of them

I think with roughly a year left on his deal and COVID we will be lucky to get $40mm for him. If there is a swap for a quality RB, CM, or RW then please do that and be done with this cancer.

The issue here is that Pogba is the most influential player in the club. He's a nice guy who is friend with everyone inside the club, he has that power to make people in the club to defend him. Even a week ago before the shit from Raiola, McTominay actually defended Pogba. People especially players like him so he's not afraid to do whatever he & his agent like.

Even if it was his agent's fault but because he doesn't sack his agent then he's okay with the way how his agent sabotaged the club, team mate and also the manager.

Where did you read that?

It won't happen as our board are morons but If we had a manager like allegri would that change the dynamic of things in terms of pogba wanting to stay as he has already thrived playing for him and allegri is not a push over that will allow pogba and his agent to take liberties in acting out?

Really enjoyed Micah Richards on Pogba tonight.

Yeah it was nice to get a reasoned view. Then you get Neville trying to justify his over the top criticism from day one by saying he’s a World Cup winner, price tag etc. When you’re critical of an attacking midfielder losing his man on a corner....but not critical of any actual defenders when they regularly do the same then your criticism is irrational and has fed into public opinion.

Kelly Cates’ question was on point too. Neville defends Ole, and all the post-Ferguson managers in fact, by arguing that none of them have been provided with a title-winning squad, yet him and Keane still criticise Pogba for not having taken United to a title.

Obviously he should be Maradona. I wonder if Bryan Robson would’ve gotten this criticism? I get Robson was a better player but he only managed a few cup wins with a far better squad until his twighlight years when he wasn’t really a key factor in 93.
