Why is Ramos wearing leather shorts?!
Spot on I would say. It's pretty obvious what's happened here.
Ramos has used Casillas leaving to leverage the captaincy and a big fat bonus to his wage bill. We are the only club feasible to pull this trick with, so he's just played along. His mother clearly gave the game away with the clueless interview, and now he's returned from training Perez has promised him everything he wanted. They go back to happy families and will be standing in the same spot with balloons and party poppers waiting for de gea to arrive.

Agreed. Ramos is a good player but he also comes with a massive price tag and a big risk. He isn't the stereotypical defender that does well in the PL, but I'm sure he would adjust. I think though otamendi is the better option due to hunger, price and style.Spot on. As much as a dream as it was to sign him I reckon we come out better in this deal by signing Otamendi and keeping DDG for another season.
Apart from the press going mad in a few days with ''SNUBBED!!'' I think we're all just as happy with Otamendi.
If you never once thought it was even remotely possible (and I mean come on, it really wasn't) then you can't be disappointed....
So now I'm reading on here that it seems off. What are we basing this on? Please tell me it's still alive
If that is how you think all the time, what fun are transfer rumors? Besides, this was a really strong one. BBC and Sky were reporting it so please none of that "was NEVER going to happen".
No, it's how I think for transfers that seem pretty far-fetched. For instance, I'm pretty hopeful we'll get Schneirderlin... because that's a transfer that makes sense.
Oh, and there really isn't anything 'fun' about transfer rumours, in my opinion.
Must be a fan, basketball is very popular in Spain IIRC, doesn't Mata talk about it all the time in his blogs too?Sure is, they wear that insignia on their caps.

Shit! Sorry, I should have known that, always get all the LA teams mixed up.The Los Angeles Dodgers play baseball.

Yup, was never alive to be fairSo this is dead then huh?
What's happened to his definitely absolutely 100% wants to leave this summer then and was definitely absolutely 100% not using us just to get a new deal?
The only update is a picture of him and Perez hugging each other in the stadium.
Yup, was never alive to be fair
Didn't Sky also claim we had signed Gundogen? Sky imo are as desperate as the rest.Again, BBC and Sky were reporting it. How could it never be alive?

Yep, Sky are deemed credible because of how big they are.Sky are getting a bit worse. Sky and BBC both however is a different story. This may be dead now but you can't say it was never alive. I think a deal just didn't go through.
People talk about how "Madrid tricked us" and how we can be dumb to fall this again; but how have we (Man United, and not the fans) suffered anything from this? There was a chance for a world class player, we looked into it and didn't happen. We can just move on.
