Spot on. As much as a dream as it was to sign him I reckon we come out better in this deal by signing Otamendi and keeping DDG for another season.

Agreed. Ramos is a good player but he also comes with a massive price tag and a big risk. He isn't the stereotypical defender that does well in the PL, but I'm sure he would adjust. I think though otamendi is the better option due to hunger, price and style.

Ramos hugged Perez on a perfectly timed photo. It's still possible, wether it's likely I don't know. Marcelo extended his contract already and he's got the same agent as Ramos..
No, it's how I think for transfers that seem pretty far-fetched. For instance, I'm pretty hopeful we'll get Schneirderlin... because that's a transfer that makes sense.
Oh, and there really isn't anything 'fun' about transfer rumours, in my opinion.
The RVP transfer rumor was far fetched as well. I thought Di Maria and Falcao was too. Even Mata! I guess it's however you cope with it but to me it's no fun just not believing about any of the far fetched transfers. Okay, I must have wasted days on Vidal and Schnieder but so what? I'll still be a believer unless they say no.

It's alright, I'm just bummed out over getting played again by another big name player. Just a little lover's quarrel between Sergio & Perez, they've kissed and made up.

A photo of him smiling with Perez during an open-day at the stadium hardly says that he's willing to stay. I can't really picture him leaving yet, but if the reports are true he could still want out. His brother is also Marcelo's agent and his contract just got extended, even before the supposed new captain. Not saying there is much in this but I'm not writing it off yet, haven't got much to do but muppet anyways. If he does extend I wouldn't care because he's a cnut anyways

The only update is a picture of him and Perez hugging each other in the stadium. He hasn't signed a new deal or said anything, whilst Marcelo did extend his contract and he has the same agent - Ramos' brother.
