Not a bad guy (Whale Killer)
He is criminally underrated on this forum.I don't know why people hate Savic that much. I rather have him at 100% than a Pogba at 60% like he always play.

McTominay really doesn’t suit the deeper role, he’s been at his best for us as B2B.I’d be happy with that
More like a year ago he was completely overhyped until people saw his real level. He’s a more dynamic Fellaini. Sure a good squad option but not for the type of football we want to play under Ole/Mckenna.He is criminally underrated on this forum.
We need someone a little more mobile, agile. He is criminally underrated on this forum.
He isn’t going to play box to box for this year. Fred isn’t good enough to be in the squad let alone be a defensive mid. So Scott and Matic have to play that role.McTominay really doesn’t suit the deeper role, he’s been at his best for us as B2B.
He’d learn it. He said himself he’s happy to play as a 6McTominay really doesn’t suit the deeper role, he’s been at his best for us as B2B.
People talk like he is the slowest footballer to ever grace the football pitch. Pirlo was slow. Xavi was slow. Good footballers know their negatives and find a way to work around it. This lad is young, strong and capable of pulling together some amazing passes. We need someone a little more mobile, agile.
Like playing possession football, capable of holding up the ball, not lose the ball easily or capable of playing passes from tight situations to our forwards to start counter attacks? Cause he is capable of all that and will add goals.More like a year ago he was completely overhyped until people saw his real level. He’s a more dynamic Fellaini. What a ridiculous comparison. Those two also have technique out of this world. Savic is bang average technically.People talk like he is the slowest footballer to ever grace the football pitch. Of course he will, we don’t even play with a DM at the moment, we haven’t all pre-season.He isn’t going to play box to box for this year. Fred isn’t good enough to be in the squad let alone be a defensive mid. So Scott and Matic have to play that role.
I think we're just all very nervous about making out like he will be a good replacement for Pogba.People talk like he is the slowest footballer to ever grace the football pitch. Pirlo was slow. No he isn’t and no he most definitely won’t. Seven goals last season. Either he’s the same nationality as you or you’re going off hype.Like playing possession football, capable of holding up the ball, not lose the ball easily or capable of playing passes from tight situations to our forwards to start counter attacks? Cause he is capable of all that and will add goals.
I never said he is capable of replacing Pogba or is as good as Pogba. If we lose Pofba we will sign Fernandes and Savic. That helps so it’s not all on him to do everything.I think we're just all very nervous about making out like he will be a good replacement for Pogba.
Most people I've asked or seen giving opinions don't rate SMS anywhere near Pogba. Pogba is such a big and important player to our team I wonder whether it'll be too much, we can't expect just 1 player to carry it like he did.
Umm...he is absolutely not a Pirlo or a Xavi type player and that is precisely the problem.People talk like he is the slowest footballer to ever grace the football pitch. Pirlo was slow. Yeah playing for Lazio in the Italian league. And he scored 14 the season before. Playing with better players in a better system will add more to your game and the goals will come.No he isn’t and no he most definitely won’t. Seven goals last season. Either he’s the same nationality as you or you’re going off hype.
I didn’t literally make a comparison to them. I was just comparing their mobility to his.Umm...he is absolutely not a Pirlo or a Xavi type player and that is precisely the problem.
Lindelof for smalling, and it’s a great team in the makingI’d be happy with that
To be fair, SMS apparently played a deeper midfield role last season, and he won the Seria A best midfielder of the year award. No he isn’t and no he most definitely won’t. Seven goals last season. Either he’s the same nationality as you or you’re going off hype.
I know what you were trying to say that's why I added "type" in my response. But those players made up for their lack of mobility by being the best passers in the world, dictating tempos of games and having unreal footballing IQs. That is not Savic.I didn’t literally make a comparison to them. I was just comparing their mobility to his.
Did he? Can't find anything about it anywhere other than a fourfourtwo article. To be fair, SMS apparently played a deeper midfield role last season, and he won the Seria A best midfielder of the year award.
I think he's been less hyped but quitely went ahead and had a good season.

Yeah he did. It’s been confirmed on here before.Has anyone reliable linked us? Hope not.

That's actually the weirdest way I've ever seen someone use stats to judge a player.
McTominay really doesn’t suit the deeper role, he’s been at his best for us as B2B.
As it stands we only have McTominay out of that lot!I would consider a midfield trio of SMS, Bruno and McTominay with Dybala as a false 9/ no 10.
Man City plays with two very attacking-minded midfielders with David Silva and De Bruyne.
Yeah, for the most part. I think in time McTominay will fit into a DM role but for now he's box to box.McTominay really doesn’t suit the deeper role, he’s been at his best for us as B2B.
Agreed.Yeah, for the most part. I think in time McTominay will fit into a DM role but for now he's box to box.

What do you mean by a more mobile Fellaini? Fellaini covered a helluva lot of ground having been a long distance runner in his youth. He just lacked any agility or acceleration.More like a year ago he was completely overhyped until people saw his real level. He’s a more dynamic Fellaini. Sure a good squad option but not for the type of football we want to play under Ole/Mckenna.
I would prefer Savic over Dybala (I also like Dybala, but Savic Will give a more cohesive approach). But let's be honest, that swap of Lukaku for Dybala is too good for turn it down.Suddenly gone very quiet on this front.....
Everyone in Italy has jumped onto the Dybala train......
This one's a Pogba failsafe.if pogba doesn't leave nothing will happen so with the lack of movement so far from real you'd expect this thread to be quiet.Suddenly gone very quiet on this front.....
