Lindelof has shown many times in his short career thus far he can carry the ball from defence comfortably. Bailly is underrated in that regard too..

Be fair, neither have shown that they can pass the ball like Rio or those top ball playing centre back.
Neither has pretty much 99% of professional centre backs. You can’t gage it like that.
Shouldn't really covet City players but he's just such a good defensive midfielder who isn't a complete cart horse with the ball.
Savic looks good but from posters on here the reservations seem fair.
Lindelof has alot of potential as far as being good on the ball. Have you ever watched him play for Sweden?

I don't know, Lindelof gets a lot of flak for his defending but he can't half pass a ball, definitely at the same standard as other ball playing CBs.

Lindelof still need to improve defensively and need to be no pressure to make a good forward pass. Need massively improvement, definitely nowhere near Rio, Ramos, Bonucci, Luiz and etc as those ball playing centre back.

Has so much ability on the ball for a man of his size like Pogba. It's encouraging that he's playing a bit on the right side.
If this is his position though he won't be a good fit. Seems more like a #10 than an #8.
He's good but I've always felt he's a Pogba light. He's not what we need to complete our midfield but a good player nevertheless.
Looks like the kind of player that would only work for us with the current personnel if we played a 442 ala Simeone.

First time watching him and it's clear he's a talented lad, good feet and an eye for a pass but as others have said I'm not sure where he'd fit in for us. Certainly a nice player to watch though.
Maybe because Luiz Alberto is a waste of space, they should get Nani on instead. Hoping for a Napoli win, but if they're winning we won't be able to see much of his defensive side.
Glad people are realising he isnt what we need respectively very hard to integrate in our setup. For the money we would have another headache on our hands and a midfielder better going forward. It still wont stop people wanting him here, despite not fitting.

As I said it's my first time watching him so I certainly don't know his game well enough but is there any chance he's got the attributes to play a different role to the one he's playing tonight? Obviously there's no point if it were to take away from his game but if he could thrive in another position then he certainly seems to have enough talent to be an asset for most teams.

I don't think anyone has ever thought he wasn't talented, he has excellent technique and balance for such a big guy, but he's clearly far from the missing piece in our midfield puzzle, could be a great addition for PSG or Real though.
I agree with SMS being too much like Pogba. Clearly a big talent but probably not what we need. Anyone else seen Jean Michael Seri? He's be my pick for what we need on the right side of midfield. Feck, get him and Julian Weigl. Matic needs help. Seri is a massive upgrade on Herrera, so long as he doesn't suffer the Prem plague that did Mihki. Them two together would cost less than SMS fee as well. Just my humble opinion...
No chance, Weigl alone is going to cost a bomb, he is Dortmunds next cash cow
