Semi-Finals: Italy vs Spain | England vs Denmark

Deserved victory for England, despite the poor VAR decision. Played a good game, but Denmark were not phisically well, the trip from Baku took it's toll.

Against Italy if you give Insigne the same space Denmark found on the first half, he will bend it over Pickford. I am almost sure Southgate will bring the back 5 again against Italy.

Yeah, still sour after Lampard ghost goal but this will be belittled. The rest of the world will remember however:p

He whistled Denmark back to re-take a throw-in for this very thing in the second half of extra-time (ball came onto the field from the crowd just as Denmark were taking a throw) but missed it for England’s goal during open play? :lol:
 
Will the game be shown on both BBC and ITV? Think I’ll watch on BBC if it is. Can’t be arsed with Matterface droning on he’s utterly dreadful. Tyldsley is missed.

It is what it is but I think the ref should be looking at that on the screens. If he views it again and gives it fair enough.

Right, but it is something to Italy, Spain, Danemark to as they had an edge compared to some teams they played against. They were clearly less tired then most teams.

No, it won't. You can go and find similar incidents in many of the previous champions. For example, Spain scored from an offside position in their 1-0 win against Portugal in 2010, does their world title come with an asterisk?

It was a dive and never a pen, but let's not exaggerate.
 
Having to finish extra time one man down was always going to end badly. Denmark was clearly tired after the Baku match and travel. Proud of the boys though. To get this far after the horrible start to the tournament is fantastic. Could see us get far in the WC

A final at last! Dodgy penalty but deserved on balance given Denmark started playing for penalties after 60 minutes.

No different to Italy the other night and they must've reached about 10 finals in laat 55 years, doing it at Wembley is extra special aswell.
