Semi-Finals: Italy vs Spain | England vs Denmark

Well done England. I hope you win the final.

As a Dane, i'm proud of my team. We played against a team that none of our players would get into. Except maybe from Schmeichel. The penalty was very soft, but hey, that's football. I don't know if you know, but we had to chase the game in the second half of extra time with ten men.

There are so many brilliant players in this England team, and if you'd excuse the sour grapes, I think it was a p*ssy move by Southgate to withdraw Grealish after you lot went ahead.

I love United, and I want Harry and Luke to win the fecking tournament now.

Congratulations to all of you England fans.

You played well and probably ran out of steam in the end. Good signs for the world cup next year.

England deserved to win but not in that manner. Blatant dive from Sterling and they miss the second ball on the pitch in the lead up to the penalty too. Lucky enough with the easy route to the final but now this.

Right, but it is something to Italy, Spain, Danemark to as they had an edge compared to some teams they played against. They were clearly less tired then most teams.
Oh 100%

It’s not surprising those teams made it the furthest as they had an advantage.

No, it won't. You can go and find similar incidents in many of the previous champions. For example, Spain scored from an offside position in their 1-0 win against Portugal in 2010, does their world title come with an asterisk?

It was a dive and never a pen, but let's not exaggerate.
And their goal in the final came after the ref missed an extremely obvious corner and gave Spain a goalkick instead! We were robbed I tell you.

No I dont know who Nigel de Jong is.

Congrats England. Better team overall but. Is it salty to say that was never a pen but an obvious ugly dive by Sterling?

I love how catchy Three Lions is, but at the same time...we had a better football song given to us by New fecking Order, one of the greatest bands of all time. Criminal that this isn't getting a look-in.

Feck it, we deserved some fortune in a international tournament. Two Sol Campbell goals wrongly disallowed in the WC and Euro's. Lampard infamous goal against Germany.

We're finally in a damn final and we're looking good. Get in!

It was a deserved win but the pen decision was obviously wrong. It revolts me because as a Sporting fan we have an historial of always being in the wrong end of these decisions.

I will root for Italy the first time in my lifetime.
Good thing Portuguese players never dive

What must Rashford be thinking ? Can’t get near this side nowadays and he looks miles away from Southgates thinking. i don’t think his United career is in a particularly healthy state either and can see him being on the bench for large parts next season.
He is supposedly having an operation when Euros over, so we will see how he is after that before he is written off.

You mean corruption? I dunno if you can do it.

If it means bitterness then I'm not even Danish.

Will be Euro with and asteriks if you win it pal, no problem though.

Nah, if they go on and beat italy, it will be a euro win like any other. They could have gotten 2 other calls in this match.

He is last player who would Ole bench. And he will not have need to do it. Rashy will be rested so next season he will be great for us

Penalty or not in that instance (there were 2 other better penalty shouts later) Absolutely baffling how people cant think the better team went through.

Because they won thanks to a fake penalty.

I hope you all didn't cry when Henry scored with a double hand against Ireland, as France was clearly the better team.

Seriously, stop using the "who cares, the better team won" logic.

Second ball on the pitch. Game should have been stopped way before sterling even dribbles the ball. Farcical that the linesman and ref missed it.
Saw that too was shouting for the game to stop but it didn’t..

 2010 still bitter about that

World in motion is so overrated. Three Lions is much better imo.

Hopefully him missing out/not contributing to an eventual Euro win will be a massive wake up call.

Denmark were excellent.

We looked a bit shocked that they were that good.

So fecking elated though. Bring on Italy. These lads are bloody great.

They scored from a free kick that wasn't a foul. Kane got took out the game and no pen given but hey, let's not mention those eh!

Dry your eyes

Catchy? Thoughts of listening to that for the next 55 years sends shivers down my spine

Webb was drunk that match to be fair. De Jong should have been sent off, but Pyoul stopped Robben as the last man and didn't get sent off, which was an even bigger mistake.

Oh, and Villa slapped some Dutch player. At least 4 players should have been sent off in that final, Webb had totally lost control of the match. By far the worst final ever.

Congrats England. Better team overall but. Is it salty to say that was never a pen but an obvious ugly dive by Sterling?

Dive sure, but "ugly dive", nah, we have seen a lot worse than that.

Was rooting for England, as Maguire and Shaw play. However the victory feels tasteless, feel bad for the Danes. They didn't deserve to lose like this. Imo England would have won anyway without that pen, Denmark were utterly knackered. The pen ruined a good match.

And Southgate is a coward.

Yup. FIFA, who aren't organising this competition, continue their historical love affair with the English national team by bribing the officials.
Keep embarrassing yourself if you insist on making it even more enjoyable for them

Again, In the past we had controversies but not with var. this wasn't even checked by the ref. In the semi final. Isn't it a bit weird.

I still can’t get over that penalty decision, stinks of corruption.

Penalty or not in that instance (there were 2 other better penalty shouts later) Absolutely baffling how people cant think the better team went through.

Who wrote that here? Pretty much every poster acknowledged that England was the better team. Does not make the pen a better decision, though.

FIFA, UEFA, who gives a feck.

You can't give this as a pen in a euro semifinal unless you're blatantly corrupt.

Yup, I'm with ya, blatant corruption. Never seen a penalty like it. Only England would get such a penalty. Its outrageous pal. Bloody criminal.

Finally we get a bit of luck after a long period of bad luck and all the haters out in full force :D

Not a bit, it was a blatant dive we benefited from. What would be salty is acting like other teams don't do it. I'd be ripping if it happened against us.
