We will have to bring in @JPRouve to clear this up..Should be a'lair no? French don't pronounce first H.
You're correct sir..Should be a'lair no? French don't pronounce first H.

He was pretty good at FC Utrecht. Which should be a good indicator about whether he's United level.
He's not.
Sure, that's why he moved to Germany, but United want world class player don't they? He's not that, not at all. I like Haller mind, just dont think he's he's United material.don't know about United level, but there always looked like there was a lot more to him that didn't always come out at Utrecht
Who leads the line then?Looks decent but why are we looking for a target man, the era of pure strikers is gone. We need strikers in the mould of Griezmann or Dybala.
We must be aiming for a mid-table if this the caliber of player we’re consider as a replacement for Lukaku. Why not get Icardi or better yet surround Lukaku with wingers that can actually cross the ball and provide opportunities. Seems a lot of us are in the grass is greener mindset and are in for a rude awakening.
Who is Eintracht Frankfurt goal-machine Sebastien Haller?
“Bringing in Haller, obviously gives you a bit more strength up front. He can hold the ball up, he’s big, and he showed his quality today.” – Frankfurt midfielder Jonathan de Guzman after Haller’s point-saving contribution against Nuremberg.
"I always want to score goals, but I'm a team player first and foremost." – Haller on his own game.
“A bulldozer couldn’t knock him over!” – Former Frankfurt and current Bayern coach Niko Kovac.

Sounds about right. Don't even attempt to sign his striking partner Jovic (the better player).
He reminds me of Drogba from the videos posted. Great physical present, good link up play and a cool finisher though not with the best goals to game ratio.

Don't think he's scored enough goals to be compared to Ibra.Did someone say Ibra 2.0? Proper number 9? Calm? A complete player exactly what we need. Sign him up!

I'd take a young Giroud as backup on the cheap if available. I doubt this lad is available on the cheap though. In France he is compared to Giroud, a big physical striker with decent link up abilities.
How is his first touch with his back to goal? If it's Giroud like, that's perfect for us isn't it?In France he is compared to Giroud, a big physical striker with decent link up abilities.
We must be looking in different dictionaries then.Lukaku is the definition of a mid table striker
Best attacking talents in Europe yet at 24 still plays for Frankfurt and except for this season - which may be his breakout - has nothing to prove your claims. You must be joking? Right?
One of the best attacking talents in Europe and probably the best in the Bundesliga. I watch a lot of Bundesliga football and he is a better overall player than Lukaku.
You're right, Icardi won't be much different in build up, but he's a much better finisher than Lukaku and a proven goal scorer which is something we desperately need!Icardi is as bad as Lukaku when it comes to target play and contributions outside of the box though. If not worse, Lukaku wins some duels due to his pure size at least.
I dont disagree with your opinions about the flaws in Lukakus game but to advocate replacing him with Icardi who is every bit as bad in the same respects of the game I totally disagree on. Plus that Icardi is a cnut and that we should stay well clear of him just because of that.
Comments like this make me laugh.
How do you know exactly that we didn't attempt to sign Jovic?
Just because you didn't read about it in the press, it doesn't mean we didn't ask about him.
Perhaps he didn't want to join us so we didn't bother to go any further? Would you pick United over Real right now?
We simply don't know, so it's a bit silly to assume.
Interesting link, never heard of the guy before.
Done a bit of research and youtube watching and he seems like a good striker whose gone under the radar.
Only scored 2 goals less than the to be 'Superstar' Jovic, while assisting more in the Bundesliga.
Got an average rating of 7.55 whereas Jovic ended the season with a 7.00 on Whoscored.
In Fifa, the guy has 98 strength
As for youtube, he has a lot of everything really. I actually enjoyed watching his highlights.
Now, the only issue I see with him is he gets a lot of runs in behind where he plays the ball off, which is great, if we can play that way. I almost feel we'd need to have our build up play setup to compliment him.
I do enjoy how quite a few are dismissing him as a nothing player in here, yet willing to spend heaven and earth on players who have looked alright in 6months of first team exposure in leagues weaker than the Bundesliga and even though they won't say it, the reason being their teenagers rather than 24
Ibra’s best league goals tally at Haller’s age was 16. Not saying we should sign Haller or compare him to Ibra though.Don't think he's scored enough goals to be compared to Ibra.
We haven’t signed anymore and doesn’t look like we are going to anytime soon so until we do I will keep slating how shit this club is run.
Give me Giroud with extra pace as a striker and I'm happy all day longIn France he is compared to Giroud, a big physical striker with decent link up abilities.
I've never seen him.
But are we a counter attacking side? Possession? Pressing from the front?
I dont even fecking know. Dangerous to buy a young striker if you dont yet know your identity as a team.
Saying that the stats look good and the talent seems there. You just have to hope our scouts finally hit a home run.
