So far, glad we didn't waste any money on him. Let him really prove himself this season or fade from our sights. Very poor performance from him today.
So glad we did not get him. Looks really average. I like the look of Mcginn though.
To be honest I didn't realise that he was playing. Or more correctly he was in the Newcastle side. Completely anonymous. But I should not judge him on one performance, poor as it is.

Wait and see how he develops. He barely played in the PL to be fair and after the injury, it can go either way. Glad we didnt sign him for that money, huge risk.

I didn't want us to sign him but please remember he has not played competitive football for 5 months so must be rusty as feck. Based off your feedback it sounds as though he was out of sorts and not his usual self as his clips make him seem someone who wants to get on the ball. Patience. Let's see 10 games in, what his form is like
Me too, think he can play at a higher level. The goal was a really nice finish....
One game shouldn't sway an opinion. Especially not after a lengthy injury lay off. I've not seen enough of him to have an opinion on his worth.
Only watched the first half but agreed. Had to actively look for him.
Rice did not look like anything special against City either.
