I blame Ten Hag, why the heck would he put him on as a forward randomly? Waste of a player, send him to Sunderland on loan to play with the kids
 
One poor cross, should have had a pen after a good run, nothing much else to talk about, his fault of course, because the passing and possession game was really amazing until he came on.
 
May as well sell him now and put the money in the next seasons striker money box.

When he comes to play we become shit. If we were shit before that, we became even more shit.
I wouldn't give a single euro to ETH for new players anymore if he is the one who refuses to sell McTalentless.
Depth my ass. Tom Heaton can do exactly same job which this dross is doing
 
Headless chicken, not sure why he was brought on. Have to hope he has one of his random good performances against Arsenal.
 
Once again shows he's not made for this level. If he was brought on to make us tougher to play through in midfield that was a massive failure.

Terrible footballer but he certainly should have started tonight.
 
In a season where other players have improved under ETH, he's drifted to the periphery of the squad.

And if he's not good enough for us now, he certainly isn't good enough for the team we're tyring to become. With the best will in the world, a team looking to challenge for the biggest trophies regularly need a lot better to bring off the bench than this.

We know this for a very long time, yet some of the fans will come up with excuses and exycuses and built their confidence around the player based on 1 decent game in 20 he plays well.. He's an antisystem player who's not even good defensively, despite built like an MMA player and having "good character". Who cares.

Send championship players to where they belong. If Newcastle pay anything above 20mil it will be fecking extraordinary. we get some money for him which I don't believe we could for a player of his talent and they become a worse side..
 
The thought of him having to start vs Arsenal scares me massively

The point is that he did absolutely nothing. It was like playing with 10 players.
We are talking here about Man Utd player. For being Man Utd player, standard is not "he didn't feck up anything".

He is not a #10. No idea why the manager stuck him in that position. The sensible switch would have been Eriksen moved further up. McT has some uses as someone to break up the play. He is not good at being the creative force or to push the opponent back. Seems Eth wanted to compensate for Wout's height when he was subbed, so put McT further up the pitch when it's clear he cannot cut it there.

He replaced Weghorst and they were starting to overrun Casemiro and Eriksen way before McT even came on. Scapegoating McT doesn’t get anymore pathetic than this.
 
I suppose he will be the Casemiro replacement for the Arsenal game? Fred is more used as a Eriksen replacement and McT the Casemiro replacement? Not looking forward to that but hopefully McT can suprise and have a good game. He did play fairly well (atleast at defending, passing still wasnt good) at the start of the season. One more good game please, will increase his value and quickly sell him to Newcastle after that.

Watching the worst player ever who played regulary for Man Utd? Of course it does make me frustrated. He should be in Swansea or Bristol. Not in Man Utd

He’s a terrible sub, rarely plays well when brought on and as he did tonight usually looks like he has no clue what he’s supposed to be doing.
Second half was shite with and without him but I think he is virtually always a waste of time when brought on.

I would have replaced Casemiro straight out with him. We were loosing control of the game with or without Cas, he might as well
spared him from suspension and tried something different. Putting him at number 10 was pointless.
 
He comes on only to foul, be a shithouse and gallop like a horse in midfield. There's actually no quality in anything he does.

EtH plays him further forward because he doesn't trust him in our half. Unless he has the game of his life, Arsenal are going to severely punish us if he's the DM on Sunday.
 
His scuffle with Zaha just sums him up as a footballer and the verdict is he isn't one.
 
He cannot be the replacement vs Arsenal. He just can't. I would rather give Martinez or even Shaw a try there any day of the week.

No point even digging into him tonight. Anyone with a clue already knows how bloody bad he is.
