Funny, reminds me of what we used to hear about Lingard. "Great without the ball"
No wonder we struggle to do anything with the ball when we're training academy lads to play better without it
I think thats unfair on Lingard. He is good on the ball and he would be good enough for a top premier league team if he played every week like he did for West Ham last season. But he has never managed that at United
McTominay is not good enough, not unless he has the absolute best midfielders playing next to him and he just has a job to do winning the ball in the air and ball winning using his strength
