Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez believes his is good enough to play for European and Premier League Champions Manchester United as he eyes a future in the Premier League.

The Chilean-born striker, who can also play as a winger, arrived at the Bianconeri from River Plate in the summer, and he has raised a few eyebrows.

His pace, quick thinking and ability to take on anyone has seen him become one of the best youngsters in Serie A.

The 20-year-old has a big future ahead of him and their is, perhaps, nothing bigger than playing for one of the greatest teams in world football.

"I would like to play in the Premier League and, above all, at Manchester United," Sanchez told Udineseblog.it.

"I like Manchester United, the way they play and they have great players. Before I wanted to play in Spain, but this has now changed."

Udinese have been slipping up recently and their hunt for Europe will look in jeopardy.

The Friulani will find it difficult to keep hold of Sanchez following his hints to move on.

I remember we were linked with him before, by all accounts a good player.

Do some players not realise how pathetic these"buy me"stories that their agents engineer ,look

depends I think. What if he's a great player?

I think it's nice - for the club and it shows that our club is making inroads into a great market. I don't want xxx forign players at the club but it would be nice to be in with a chance of attracting the best players from all over the world

By accounts he's doing well in Italy - so only time will tell how he'll progress but I'd have liked zarate anyway but there ya go. Off topic but when Ronaldo goes, him or maybe a sanchez - tosic will step up? Or someone from our youth but they have to be good enough

I like the fact he likes our players and how we play. That's how it should be not oh i want to play for madrid cause they were great years ago and now are abit shit. Oh it's my dream blah

Good mix of flair and speed and is not quite as frustrating as Nani can be. Should go on to be a very good player.

not ready for a club like Manchester, dont know if he is even good enough for River Plate were he was a sub most of the games.

Was he?
Every game I saw River last year "Chileenoooo" was involved. And I think he was one of the players missed by River this season that they ended last in the league.

I've posted bout Alexis Sanchez before, in that "Ronaldo's replacement" thread and others.

I've seen him from his early years and I have to admit I'm an admirer of him. I find him a very good player at 19 years old.
He would definately be a good signing for the future for us. If this is true of course.

I believe he is right footed but he can use both.

Thanks.

Just that if we're investing in a winger, I reckon he should be left footed, considering all our wingers (not including Giggs) favour their right foot.

I think since we've bought in these players more and more kids are watching the English league and as we're successful at the moment he's probably seeing we're the team to play for - and he's right.

I think we play great football - when we're on form and we can be as good as anyone. I think also if he looks at our average age - he must surely feel like most - that we can really push on for years to come with the players we have

I think we play great football - when we're on form and we can be as good as anyway. I think also if he looks at our average age - he must surely feel like most - that we can really push on for years to come with the players we have

That's a good thing, hopefully others see that way.

Sanchez, decent sounding name, must be talented with a name like that.

Sign him

We get linked to Sanchez every year. iirc Udinese came out once and confirmed there was an English club interested in him and bidding for him

F@P

His foreign-sounding name definitely means he will be a legend. Don't bother scouting unless there are some youtube vids about
