Good for them. How is this point relevant to the rating of Levy (being the topic that this thread has recently veered onto)?
I don't rate Levy but you'd expect big clubs to have "world class training facilities" in place. United have it, Chelsea, City and Arsenal too one would assume. And what is it with this constant wumming regarding United from you whilst bigging up Spurs? A bit childish isn't it?

I've not been "bigging up Spurs". In response to those denying Levy's accomplishments - a topic that I didn't introduce - I've merely been stating simple facts about what Spurs have achieved in recent seasons, both on and off the pitch, despite there being at least 5 Prem clubs with currently much larger incomes and paying much higher player-wages.

Nor is it "bigging up Spurs" to refute the silly claim that Spurs are "barely recognised internationally".

As for the alleged wumming, if Spurs are described as supposedly a "joke of a club", then it's fair enough to point out that United are not taken too seriously these days ... assuming that some Caftards can take what they dish out.

Not sure how we've been left with our trousers down over De Gea.

'Hey, let's play snakes and snakes'
'Can't mate. Spurs are about to play West Ham'
FFS

I don't really think signing Schweinsteiger, the best midfielder of his generation is a joke. Nor Morgan Schneiderlin, the most coveted midfielder in the league. Nor Depay or Martial, two of the most highly rated youngsters in Europe. Even the unheralded Darmian, an Italian international, is hardly something to be laughed at. Holding onto a world class keeper for another year with a muted possibility of a new contract is not a very comical situation either, certainly not for our rivals.

I'd much rather see United aim big and come up short than not aim at all. There's a chasm of difference between missing out on Gareth Bale and missing out on Saido fecking Berahino. Deals like the latter should be relatively easy to complete. Penny pinching with offensive payment terms on relatively small transfer fees looks small time and suggests Spurs have medium term cash-flow issues. On the other hand, deals for stars are usually years in the making. Do the groundwork now and then see what happens down the line. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if United sign Bale or Muller in the next two years.

How is United a joke? We made some very good signings this summer and yet you keep banging on about going after unreasistic targets. If we have an interest in players like Bale, Muller etc thats normal and it'd be strange if we didn't since we can afford them and want to imporove. It doesn't mean we bid though. I've never seen you post anything remotely positive about United and these constant digs at a club Spurs can only dream of competing against in the longer run is small time and strange.

They have Rondon though who looks like a good player..Id leave him in the stands, until he decides he wants come back playing football.

I thought by now he'd have taken his naked headbutt from Pulis like a man and made a scripted apology on WBA's in house TV channel.
