After Coutinho he is
regardless of the outcome this weekend that is a huge blow for them.
Has he any other option?
How does the injury change things?
Damn. Any win will feel hollow now. It's like winning a 1 billion lottery, but then your old grumpy wife wants a divorce.

WHITE TEXT!!

Losing half or more of lottery pay out... However, on second thought, that's not too bad. You have more than enough money for the rest of your life, hey ho. Applying to this case, if this help us winning the title. Who give a feck about how convincing we beat a strong L'pool team?!Where's the downside?
Hopefully this inspires Jose to set us up with more freedom. Just start with the same team we have been starting with Herrera instead of Fellaini of course.
Yes, this this this. Surely they have few enough threats now that he trusts our usual defensive players to just handle it. If Herrera plays, he and Matic can handle Coutinho between them. Firmino is a good striker, not a great one - if you nullify the rest of that unit, Jones and Bailly will handle him easily enough.
The main remaining concern for me is actually Salah, because we don't really have anyone at LB who's particularly good at handling a pace man. It's Blind's signature weakness, really - it's much too easy to kick and rush him. Darmian isn't as sluggish but he's still going to vulnerable unless he's allowed to have a really deep starting position. Shaw, in form, is made for the job, but if he was in form he'd probably have played some football so I doubt that's a good option.
Liverpool will put in a performance against us regardless of who's injured. That's not to say we can't or won't win, just that it will still be a tough game.
However, I think in games after the United game, Liverpool will really struggle without Mane.
Happens every season without fail, and the lack of depth and quality means our entire system breaks down. But dw we'll win the net spend trophy or something.
Sturridge can't or won't run, he's crocked.I'd argue where Sadio Mane is injured is the one area you do have depth. Salah, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge, Oxlade, Woodburn, Solanke. Lallana to come back from injury and you weirdo's still have Markovic and Ings as well.
No way will Jose start Martial. Indeed, as much as I hate to say it, if we are winning it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't bring him on at all. He'll go super defensive to close out the match. I hope I'm wrong as I'd love to see Martial come on for the last 20 minutes or so and rip their defence apart, but we'll see...This will upset all the Martial fans (and I love the kid) but your point is exactly why Jose will start with Rashford on Saturday. His pace and industry will be required on that left wing to neutralize Salah.
The question then remains: will Jose also start with Martial or will he bring him from the bench as he has done most of this season?
If he goes 3-5-2, he may very well.No way will Jose start Martial. Indeed, as much as I hate to say it, if we are winning it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't bring him on at all. Martial will either play 10 minutes or stay on bench. Depends how we do.This will upset all the Martial fans (and I love the kid) but your point is exactly why Jose will start with Rashford on Saturday. His pace and industry will be required on that left wing to neutralize Salah.

If we score a second goal, Martial will come on. If not, he stays on the bench like the Southampton game. Would really love him to start though as he can destroy their full back.Martial will either play 10 minutes or stay on bench. Depends how we do.
I think Martial will start with Mykytarin, and Rashford and Mata on the bench for this game.
DDG
Valencia Bailley Smalling Jones Young
Matic Herrera
Mykytarin Martial
Lukaku
Think this will be the team.
I think Salah doing so well is getting to him. He was pissed when Klopp didnt pick him for a game and since then he has tried to do it all by himself on many occassion. Even today he didn't seem overly happy when coming off. Surely Salah taking the limelight is getting to him.
