What a player and what an amazing career. He'll rightfully go down in history as one of the greatest players in the history of our football club. It's great that he will still be around the club as assistant manager though - the next chapter in his career with us.

Quite sad we didn't get to send him off properly - although everyone subconsciously knew it was probably over.
His career has been insanely good. This is just one phase of his United career ending, he's synonymous with this club, and what glory has he brought us and himself? There is more to come from him at this club. I think we can all safely say we're immensely proud and in awe of Ryan Giggs.
Legend, amazing player. Feel privileged to have seen him play. Now it really does feel like the end of an era.

Well, he'll still be there on the bench and as assistant he'll be very involved with the first team, constantly visible during games, probably giving a lot of interviews as well. So it doesn't really feel like a retirement. What a career he's had, incredibly numbers. A shame he didn't get a couple of extra CL's, as his career deserved that (same as with Fergie really).

One of our greatest players of all time. An absolute legend. Sad to see him retire, but it was going to happen eventually. He will hopefully become our manager at some point in the future.
