Rugby Union Discussion - Six Nations Time

Is there any circumstance where the red is a full red

If the refs believes that the foul is deliberate and dangerous, they can award it.

This one should have been an example of it.

Gibson-park is offside in every phases of that sequence.

Dangerous? Yes. Deliberate? Yes.

They have a chance to reduce (you’ll never completely remove) head collisions. Need to back up their apparent aim.
Ultimately I think everyone who wants the game to survive should want dangerous head contact to be punished.

We're seeing the opposite of that today. This and the new lineout rule has only introduced grey areas and bad decisions.

Bonus points for how much it’ll have annoyed Gatland to see the Welsh players finally get the fingers out.

Gibson-Park probably the right call for MotM and definitely our best player today, but Jac Morgan must have run him bloody close. What a shift he put in and is a real shout now for a spot in probably then most competitive area for the Lions this summer.

Funny how winning a triple crown doesn’t seem like a big deal now. Felt like the Holy Grail back in the day.

Anyhoo. Come on Scotland!
it’s only beating a weak wales and england, and then a scotland side that only bother turning up against england. it’s like playing united 3 times.

That french ref is shite, Curry lost his balance and had both hands on the ground.

And now the loosehead isn't binding but Scotland is sanctioned.
