same for italy, wales and scotland. just goes to show that if you sit around all day, avoiding any kind of work and contributing to the world, you can create bangers of anthems. if you’re really busy and propping up the rest, you end up having to phone it in with a turd one, like england and ireland.

I do wonder where he’ll finish in the goat ranks. Obviously needs a WC to have a proper claim…..but in terms of individual brilliance, can you argue Carter or McCaw are actually ahead of him? (if we discount what they’ve won)

Yeah, team sport and all but I just think he has everything. Just a crazy complete player. And I reckon we’re going to the difference he makes to France as a team when we compare this 6N with last year.

I’ve found this clip from a few years ago…..watching this scrumhalf take the ball in a bad position and just bull his way through the opposition, carrying various players on his back….watching it at the time I thought, “shit, this fecker might end up being the greatest”



Obviously loads more to his game, but the threat to just go ‘feck you’ and run through the whole team from anywhere, it’s unique
