England playing much better rugby. Genge ragdolling Hooper with his first carry set the tone.
Fully expecting the Wallabies to come out like fire in the second half and make this considerably closer. @Xaviesta do you reckon you can get back into this?

Yes, but discipline and territory stats need to improve. It was telling that Tupou's try came after finally getting some time in England's 22.

Well that’ll help. Not sure why we allowed Tupou to line up Marcus Smith from a series of pick and goes, slightly obvious mismatch.

The Irish ref and TMO have been consistent - Marcus Smith is on the naughty chair for a deliberate knock on.

Watch our discipline crumble now. Just watch for the stupid pens. Courtney & Faz should be grabbing them by the balls and screaming for no stupid fecking pens

Good game to watch. Think England deserved the win in the end and seemed much more controlled compared to game one. Completely steamrollered Australia in the first half however annoyingly didn’t capitalise on the man advantage which allowed Australia to sneak back in.

Australia did make the most of their man advantage though yet when that went the game did for them as England got their footing again and settled back to being the better team whilst Australia lost their discipline.

Sets up a thrilling final test.

Can't give any team a 19 point head start. That 10 game winning streak at Suncorp Stadium has ended. We'll have a decider at the Sydney Cricket Ground next Saturday.

Absolutely. Looked much more like the England that’s been successful under Eddie, forward dominance, territorial kicking, squeezing the opposition.
There’s still problems. Despite our mauling we actually lost a lot of our own lineout ball. The major problem is though, our backs aren’t playing with freedom. We’re a team based on the forwards game. Our backs, they’re territory markers and defenders….and I don’t think it gives us an all-round game capable of beating the best teams in the world

I think the talent is clearly there but perhaps it’s more mentality? Discipline lapses are another issue but I think given time it can be all pulled together as in phases today they annihilated the Aussies.

You must do it for 80 minutes though and accept there’s going to be periods, especially in the Southern Hemisphere, where you have to stay disciplined, dig in and absorb pressure.

A much changed South Africa take on Wales in a couple of hours. I haven't watched Evan Roos play yet, I'm keen to see how he performs.

Not a great day for the Southern Hemisphere sides so far and I fear it's going to get even worse.

I’m sure it’s tactical instruction rather than mental. We’re playing a 10 at 12 because it gives us two kickers….so we can always kick for territory. Who was playing outside centre today? Can you remember? How many times did they receive the ball? Probably not many because we don’t want to expand through the backs, in fact I reckon Knowell received more kick passes than actual passes. If that doesn’t point out that we don’t have a decent backline game then I don’t know what would

Whatever  You had a bit of a scare last week….you’ll do them by 15-20 this week
Not confident going into this match, Wales have given us alot of trouble lately and there are too many new faces/ guys not used to playing with each other in the team for my liking. Though I do understand the need to cap the young talent before they get poached.

4 minutes in and the Boks have moved the ball than they did in the entire first half last week. Or so it seems.

According the Schalk Burger, the Boks will be kicking themselves for not being ahead by 20 points.

It will be so Scottish if they let the NH down here and lose to the Argies

I’m Scottish and I honestly can’t see us winning tonight. I’ll be very shocked if we do. I’ve hardly watched any of our recent games since the France loss earlier this year in the 6N and most likely am going to give tonight’s game a miss as well.

Townsend tries to make us play this expansive style of rugby but the execution of it more often than not is so brutal that if you didn’t laugh, you’ll cry. If there were awards and major honours given to who can make the most handling errors and poor decision making, we’d comfortably run away with them. The Scottish rugby PR media and some elements of our fanbase just make me pull my hair out with the amount of giddiness & extreme levels of exuberance at times they come out whenever we win despite knowing deep down that there is nothing to be excited about in the 1st place with this Scotland team. Like when we beat the mighty Chile two weeks ago by 40+ points, some of the posts I was reading on the Scottish rugby forums were just laughable! It was like if we had just won the World Cup. Our U20’s always seem to get spanked majority of the time in the U20’s 6N and that’s why when it comes to the seniors, we are actively always trying to see if any English/Kiwi/South African/Australian player that hasn’t been capped competitively already and has a Scottish relative that they probably don’t even know about wants to play for us.

Like I said, if we do somehow get a result tonight, then what a shock that will be but don’t count on it.

Yeah I’m with you on Scottish fans’ uber rose-tinted glasses
That being said you’ve got genuine quality in the team at the moment, far more than at times past. Probably a bit light in the front 5 but I’m perplexed that Townsend can’t get a tune out of that backline….I’d take at least 3/4 players for england. Hopefully for you guys it’s a case of storming and norming before the performing

Great results for the Home Nations, but......what has happened to English back play? Outside centre got 1 pass I reckon
