20-7 keeps New Zealand interested. If Ireland can take the margin beyond 14, that'll be game, set and match.

Folau Fakatava is 22, was born in Tonga, spent the first 16 years of his life in the country of his birth and is now playing for the All Blacks. Understandably, they'll say they're not doing anything wrong but it must sting for Tonga.

That's 4 wins in 7 for us against them. We could win the series just in time to be ranked 2nd in the world as a prelude to a disappointing early world cup exit.

The Irish record in world cups is truly baffling.

Quality outfit that might just do it this time though.

I didn't see the first game but the media was very unimpressed.

It was a funny game. We had some excellent spells but threw it all away when we completely lost our heads for 15 minutes. With hindsight there were signs we could cause NZ a lot of problems. I didn’t see them though. Probably wrapped up in my relentless Manchester United fuelled negativity.

It's baffling alright. I think it's psychological and linked with odd national identity. We are rarely great on the front foot, lacking confidence at crucial times and tend to be reactionary, reveling as underdogs or bouncing back after a defeat, so that doesn't suit knock out play. That's a very hot take based on more than Rugby.

Happy days for all the Ireland fans (basically the entire thread). Missed the game as I desperately needed sleep but sounds like you put it all together after last week

How are the family holding up?

Congratulations to Ireland on a first ever win in New Zealand. Now it's Australia vs England. A chance for the Wallabies to rap up the series and put Aussie Eddie under even more pressure.

Just reading (nay, savouring) some match reports on NZ-Irl and saw this:

The replacement prop’s challenge on Garry Ringrose was reckless, forcing Ringrose out of the game.

What’s also key is that a technicality may have been missed by referee Jaco Peyper shortly afterwards, which could have seen the All Blacks reduced to 12 players temporarily and 13 for the remainder of the game.

Anyone know what he’s talking about?

We've heard a lot from Joy Neville so far. Her latest intervention sees Aussie replacement back Izaia Perese in the bin for 10 for a deliberate knock on. Tim Horan described the deliberate knock on law as a ''new law''.

England 19-0 up after 32 minutes. This 10 match winning streak at Lang Park (Suncorp Stadium) in under threat.

First visit to England's 22 and the Wallabies have a converted try.
