I guess that the irish player wrapped up...

Jesus Christ how many more times are we going to be held up over the line. So many chances but not clinical enough.

France really miss Danty….he’s so good for just creating go-forward ball out of very little

Doris and Keenan have been excellent. High level game. Ireland deserved winners though.

Ross Byrne has been great since coming on. Never a top level player but glad he's showing Irish fans that he's not useless or anything.

I think this Ireland team is still far from peaking. Even today we could have put a few more tries on the board if we were more clinical. A little bit naive for some of those that were held up I thought.

There's still a lot of improvement, given that we can still up that points return from visits into the 22. Considering no Gibson-Park, Henshaw, Sheehan and Furlong, it's an incredible effort. That's the difference between this Ireland team and those of the past - we have a squad with guys like Bealham, Henderson, Aki, O'Toole came on and was brilliant, and many others to mention.

A lot of the team are still young and not peaking yet either. We battered France completely, and could have easily scored 40+ points against the No.2 team in the world. Thy didn't have a single siege on our try line that I can remember. Ireland played the last 20 mins basically inside the French 22. That's amazing composure and game management.

That was a game played by 2 great teams. A really enjoyable watch. Even though Ireland won by 13 points it never seemed like a game where one team dominated. I know the tackles shows that Ireland were dominant but France were in it right until that last try.

It’s usually the year before the World Cup, this team feels different though, the options off the bench are probably better than years gone by

Yep true. If Ross can keep playing well as a back up 10 it'll be huge for us too. That's the worrying position. Murray is playing well again so we are good at 9 with him and JGP. Very good depth everywhere else.

It felt that way because France are France. You always feel they can score a try at any moment. So Ireland could never relax. With hindsight though, it was a dominant win. France did a lot of unbelievable defence, right on their line. Without that the gap between the teams was huge.

Yes. While the gap was 6 points it was always in the balance but Ireland ground them down over the second half.

Super game, really great first half. The best team won and the fittest team won. Doris, Ryan, Porter, Lowe , Keenan all excellent but everyone did his bit.
Barnes should be embarrassed by his bias .It’s obvious after today.

I was at the game so didn’t hear whatever cock and bull nonsense he used to avoid sending Antonio off. How the hell did he justify the yellow?

What a game! I was in the pub with a bunch of French colleagues and totally outnumbered so it was extra sweet.

Got worried after 60 mins when we still hadn't gotten another try. I expected them to cause us serious trouble in the last 20 because their bench is so strong but it was great to see us pin them back and close out the game by keeping the in their end.

And thankfully Barnsy being a prick as usual didn't cost us.

That’ll do nicely! Brilliant 2nd half performance after a bit of a lacklustre 1st. Glad we’ve got the Gatland hoodoo off our backs at last! More so, we’ve backed up last week’s brilliant win at Twickenham which was my main worry that we wouldn’t do today based on past history.
