Rugby 2017 Discussion

We are beating ourselves. This was as good as an opportunity as you get against them and we are playing like idiots.

It's fecking madness how good the all blacks are. Historically the all blacks must be the greatest sporting dynasty of any sport.

This would be all over by now if any other team was down to 14 I reckon.

Changes made a huge difference off the bench. Lawes must start next test. Still not sure about Sexton-Farrell defensively.

Shit performance, amazing result.

Tremendous victory but we got away with it today. I think 15 v 15 we would have failed to recover from that poor second half start.

Lions are a talented unit but their decision making and handling goes to shit under intense pressure so they need to be at the races and really brave in possession next match.

Farrell is amazing kicker under pressure.

He hasn't been consistent on this tour until today and the one he missed was not the hardest of the 5 (I think) that he landed.

Phew! Bring on Eden Park next weekend. The Lions looked like they were going to lose for much of that game but i told my father that the red card might really come into play int he last 15 or so and that's how it panned out. Vunipola can thank his lucky stars the Lions won otherwise he'd be feeling the way SBW feels at the moment. Remember, in the last two Lions tours, they've played their best game in the third test. They'll need to do that to win next weekend. I bet the NZRU is very pleased with themselves for scheduling to of the tests at Eden Park. They'll back themselves to get the business done at their sacred ground next weekend. A nice note about the margin of the Lions win. New Zealand's three losses at Westpac Stadium have been by one point, two points and three points.

Sir Ian McGeechan collapsed at the ground a few hours ago. Hope he's OK.
