Rugby 2017 Discussion

Lions scrum collapses on Garces' side although I'm not convinced Joe Moody was scrummaging straight on the other side. All Blacks get the penalty and lead 3-0 in the 20th minute.

Lions awarded a penalty for Retallick being offside from an Aaron Smith kick. Farrell's kick at goal is successful 3-3 23 minutes in.

May be a red!! Jesus. South African trying to convince it's a yellow I think. I personally think it's a yellow.

SBW has been red carded and righty so. He can have no complaints. Using part of guide I read from Tony Johnson, direct contact to the head/neck with force = red card

NZ commentators starting to sound a bit salty  I hope the lions take advantage of this.

If lions can't win this.. everything going for them at the moment.

Bad conditions should favour the Lions as it hampers AB carrying game... they're resorting to hoof ball at the moment.

SBW will be a massive loss to them. Would like to see Lions move the ball quicker.

100% red card for me. Intentional shoulder to the head...If that isn't a red then what is? No excuses now for the Lions.

Jaco Peyper tried to talk Garces into giving yellow but Garces stuck to his guns. Peyper was thinking of the occasion, Garces stuck to the law.

Connor Murray penalised for a neck roll. Just a penalty. Kiwi commentators certainly saw it

Would love to know why the late hit on Farrell wasn't penalised. Not different to the one on Barrett.

NZ are the best team in the world no doubt but this is awful from us against 14. I'd bring Webb on and get some movement from the back of the ruck. It's gone so flat since the red.
