Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

I genuinely believe our only way out of this mess is putting faith in our youngsters. I don't mean one or 2, try and get 4 or 5 in starting going into the new season. Our starting 11 is so poor

Obi would be the only one we could genuinely put faith in at this point, given how incredibly shite Hojilund is.

He had no wingbacks of his choice today, missed a key CM and would ideally have a different ST and 10 too. These differences can be critical ,but despite this we looked better in the second half.

He's definitely raw as his performance is showing tonight. Don't think he's touched the ball yet been on 20 mins.
Still think he’s not ready? He’s looked far more dangerous in his limited time on the pitch than Hoiland has in the last 20 matches

Sometimes i wonder when some of the posters really watched the game last 9+ years before Ruben. We played a version of 4-2-3-1, 4-3-2-1, 4-3-3(rarely but we did ingame) and we were mostly equally worse then as now. Our physicality and endurance is always second best except for few players. Iam one of those who think Bruno should be sold, but i don't see we have it in us to re-invest correctly again. We stumbled on Bruno to be honest during the january window competing with Spurs(if my memory serves right). There could be system issue but the players werent great with any other formation either. If they did then we would not have churned that many managers who almost all of them played 4 at the back.

We need technically strong players who are also strong. See how City has imploded probabaly the squad which contains most technical players. I have no clue how we are going to get better, as and when i think it cannot get any worse we go to new lows! Iam desperate for us to play better like most of the fans do and win. But at this point i dont see where the goals are going to come

Its all just shite, 4 months in and it is getting worse.

I just don't see how next season doesn't go the same way as this season.

There was a lot to suggest the squad wasn't having Ten Hag. It was unsurprising that we fell apart at the first hurdle.

There's a lot to suggest that, even if they like Amorim, they don't believe in what they're doing. At the first sign of trouble do we really expect a massively different outcome?

It is crap to watch with this group of players. Maybe there is something there with a few key signings but nothing promising this season.

How long that this keep going , I think once we are out of the Europa cup he will be gone.

My 3 at the back shall always play.

Such a cowardly formation, especially at OT.

At this point you must be psychotic to not be seriously concerned by what is happening on that pitch game in game out.

Transfers or not, these are performances and results of a relegation level team.
Nobody can hand on heart say this side player for player is relegation level but that is what we’re seeing every single game.

Sacking him would be just daft. Stop being babies and let him have his summer and pre-season. It's clear a material amount of his players are not suited to the style and/or have one foot out the door.

Deserved to go out it's just soul destroying watching this football every week.

So negative and I would say it's even worse than how we played under Van Gaal.

Are we saying no other coach could better than the dreadful stuff we’re seeing here?
