look back at his formative years, and who was his mentor, a certain Brian Clough and then onto Fergie. Says it all really
Ah here, it wouldn't last long enough.I think we need to see some sort of charity match with Keane vs Klopp.
Just , watching them both play on the same pitch.
United were on fire that day with Giggs and Cantona being on top form, and the Robson & Keane pairing dominating the engine room. Keane put on a typical barnstorming B2B performance, which he topped off with a cracking opener from outside the box.
Robson played a relatively more reserved role - his passing was uncharacteristically a tad bit off at times, but it was an excellent all round performance, with United absolutely bossing the midfield.

That was a 3pm game I’d say , I’ll always remember the Sheffield Wednesday game been shown!Commentary reminds me of when we used to get Saturday 3pm kick-offs live in the 90s on RTE.
Just before his Forest debut Clough said to Keane “you can control the ball, you can pass the ball and you can run. Just go out and do those 3 things”. That simplicity is what Keane did so well all his career and it amazes me how many professional football aren’t able to do these basics (see Lukaku for control, Fred for passing and Martial for running)look back at his formative years, and who was his mentor, a certain Brian Clough and then onto Fergie. Thank you for posting this. Beautiful game, lot of energy, old school.

It was! I would love to have it right now!that jersey was mint
Just on the topic of Keane the manager, has he ever spoken about the type of football he'd want his teams to play?

Winning.
Things were never this bad under his dad.I dont get why Redknapp was getting so worked up and invested in Spurs.
Is it because he wants to say the players are so good, but Jose is so bad? Only thing I can think of.
