Really looking forward to seeing him back.

But it's arguably the worst possible game for him. There's a good chance we'll lose - and this is coming from someone who thought we'd beat Chelsea - and there's an even better chance that the 25.9% will use the loss as a stick to beat him with. It'll be Rooney's fault, regardless of what actually happens on the pitch.

He is top scorer in Manchester derbies now right? Perhaps joint with Cantona.

I voted happy with that because I really thought it would give Mata a proper chance to show us what he can do. He hasn't, and we've missed Rooney massively. Glad to have him back.

Same feelings here. Didn't think Rooney was doing enough and in the system we were playing Mata deserved a shot. Hasn't taken it so no issues with Rooney going back in.

Top scorer in his own right. Rooney with 11, Joe Hayes and Francis Lee both have 10 for City, Charlton with 9, Colin Bell with City and Cantona and Joe Spence for United all have 8 and Brain Kidd has 8 but played for both teams, not too sure how his goals went.

Scholes has 7.

Yesterday would of so suited Rooney as the game played out... He is a better passer and a more obvious scoring threat than Mata is. Knowing Jose he'd of had some treatment planed out for Rooney. Which would have probably meant Chelsea parking the bus to hit on the counter and it being a completely different game.
Seeing as he is back for the City match and its a totally different proposition it might not suit him as much... But we'll see.

P.S. Mr Rooney, Please take a look at Rafael's yellow card yesterday or all the Chelsea cynical fouling in our half.... YOU DON'T GET A RED CARD FOR THIS!!!!
