Doubt it is , it’s Goldbridge so he’ll blame anyone but RonaldoDont agree with Goldbridge often, but his take on "the situation" is spot on.

Of course he would. Or he'd already we elsewhere.I think he'll go if anyone will take him. He might rather a soap opera here than a drop to a smaller club. That's my only concern.
I really think it's unfair how the knives are out.
There is a very, very, very good chance he is suffering from mental health issues, on top of frustrations in his professional career.
It's an ill disciplined outburst, let Ten Hag sort it out, he's apologised and hopefully he'll be willing to play a role (off the bench) for the rest of the season.
He lost a kid a few months ago ffs. Let's keep things into perspective.
Which fanboy on the cafe is this?
He can't go to America ...He’s also coming to terms with the fact he’s not the player he once was. Must be frustrating for him when he doesn’t want to except it. His best bet would be to just go MLS and play a couple years over there.. but the records mean too much.
Where was the apology? I missed it.I really think it's unfair how the knives are out.

I'm not convinced this is true. The reason was literally nobody wanted to pay his wages. You can keep finding reasons to blame anyone but Ronaldo for this, but eh only reason he didn't move this summer was because he was refusing a pay cut. He wanted the Man United Salary while playing for someone else.
He can't go to America ...
why not?

That's as close an apology you'll get.Where was the apology? I missed it.
The guy doesn’t give a shit about United, and probably never didIt is extremely sad how narcissistic and selfish this guy is. Could have been a leader and a mentor but instead choose to act like a brat. Disgusting. This will cost him eventually in one way or another. It will certainly take him down as a legend of the club.
One day we might have a 10-15-20 year celebration of something and he will not be invited. That will be a big FU to him and that will sting.
I don't think he believes he's still not the greatest. The ego won't allow him to believe he's not a shadow of his former self. He thinks he has a divine right to play every minute of every game. He’s also coming to terms with the fact he’s not the player he once was.

I had some sympathy for him over the summer with he and his partner losing a kid. What I would love to see happen is in a few weeks he shows up scoring goals and being a team player. Will that happen? That's as close an apology you'll get.
And if Ten Hag has him playing next week, it's evident he apologised to Ten Hag too.
The loss of a kid is nothing to sneer at and it affects some people differently to others. I have some friends who lost a child during pregnancy 10 years ago and they still celebrate the child they nearly had and they still grieve. Not everyone is as tough as you.People are still using this excuse??? Thought we were done with this excuse in the summer.

You are correct. Rio also wanted to carry the mantel piece instead of the mantle.
Yeah.. unfortunately I dont think any (top-ish) team is coming in for him at those wages ...Fact remains, no one wanted him in the summer, and his current form won't have changed anyone's mind...if he refuses to be a substitute and still wonts 400k a week, then he is going nowhere!
You believe him acting as a petulant child is cause of him losing his kid 7 months ago?? It has nothing to do with it. Stop trying to justify his cnutish behavior by making up excuses and using a kid's loss at that. The loss of a kid is nothing to sneer at and it affects some people differently to others. It perpetuates the “circus” that I often see people here complaining about.
Guy had a tantrum and stormed off. Manager said he’ll deal with it. United won convincingly. I don’t think allowing him to monopolise so much of the attention span is conducive of anything good. I do understand it’s discussion worthy, but I kinda just hoped people would ignore his antics - like the manager seemingly does - and let him fade into a smaller talking point until the club is able to part ways.
For transparency, the guy is my favourite player of all time and I hoped he’d buy into being a senior player setting an example and contributing when called upon in a smaller capacity (game time and team focus wise) but he’s seemingly still chasing shadows and personal accolades and apparently not fully aware of his abilities now, so. It is what it is.

Clubs dont "allow" agents to speak. Why would United allow Mendes to shop him around Europe, if they weren't willing to let him go? And why no one actually made an offer that Ronaldo accepted?
Surely if Ronaldo had accepted an offer and the club rejected it, it would have been reported even once?
That's on you. There was enough reporting from very good sources that all the deals Mendes was pushing us to consider included us covering quite a bit of his wages. I think Athletico were interested at a lower rate but Mended insisted on the same wages he's on and wanted us to cover the rest.I'm not convinced this is true.
