If he is so pro and all, then he should cancel the contract with us and find himself whichever team he fancy.
Oh please just pull the trigger!
Oh please just pull the trigger!

Don't see how that's possible

They’d probably have to pay him off with an amount that’s satisfactory to both parties.Don't see how that's possible
If he agrees to terminate his contract, its worth it.. keeping him to prove a point is an expensive deal for us..No thanks. Fine him and let him rot in the reserves. It's giving him what he wants
Hopefully the United mouthpieces I.e his mates, don't back him here. But who am I kidding?
You don't refuse to come on and go off on a strop. Doesn't matter who you are.
The ironic thing being that all his ex team mates in the media wouldn't tolerate it either.
Yeah and that's exactly the reason why it's not possible. He'll never agree to terminate his contract, we won't pay him out and no other club will take him with his wages, transfer fee or notHe costs us 500k a week and nobody is coming close to that and paying a transfer fee.
If we don’t do it, we still have to pay him that same amount but at the same time have him around the squad causing more harm than good. Sometimes you have to cut your losses for the greater good.Unless he waves off his salary, we should not do it.

Like I mentioned above, we are taking that financial hit no matter what unless someone is willing to buy him. I’d rather we take the hit without him around than have him in the squad.Big financial hit, but would be a great marker for how much they are backing ETH.

That's a good point. Having him exiled from the first team would be a stronger signal and also encourage him to find an amicable solutionThe issue is that it actually sends a signal that you don't want. Basically if a player misbehave enough, he can leave for free while getting paid by the club.
From your link: "The manager would have been within his rights to get rid of me."Let's all take a deep breath.
Ronaldo crossed a line. No two ways around that. But let's not act like he is the first United player to do so, here is one club legend who also crossed a line...
Scholes
Now, if Ronaldo wants back he needs to beg forgiveness. If not then we need to move on.
We were too dynamic last night and if a 37 year old Ronaldo can't see that I am sorry for him. Amazing player but not without flaws and as any long time fan knows time waits for no man... or player.
Legend huh ? Said it a million fvcking times that he’s never been a UTD legend and anyone who says otherwise is a disgrace..

Ronaldo is old enough to know the consequences.

To make him warm up and then take him out to play for a couple of minutes, with the game decided, is very humiliating for one of the best players in history.
It would be better if he had left him out for the whole game.
As bad as he is now, I think the coach should manage these situations better, although obviously I don't justify Cristiano.
