How many of you would like to see Goofy at OT on a relatively cheap transfer next year ? Why or why not ?

I'd say Ronaldinho would be back to his near best under Fergie's watch.

Its intriguing to say the least, given that Milan have announced that Leonardo is finished.

I'd love to see Fergie take him under his wing, it could possibly be a very good signing if we were to get him cheap

In the absence of 'market value' he'd possibly be worth it on a short term pay-as-you-play basis. But obviously it might hinder the development of other young midfielders (Gibson, Anderson, Cleverley etc), as he'd be another person in the squad to rotate

In that case I would like to see Fergie get Adriano back to his best.

He's been doing well in Brazil and stated a while back he's ready to go back - wouldn't put it past him to get back to his level. However, we don't need that attitude here.

You think Nani-Ronaldinho-Valencia, with Rooney up front wouldn't work ?

He plays off the left Wing now and that would hurt Nani's development. Does he have the discipline and work rate to play as an attacking mid?

A lot of people seem interested in signing big names ie Ronaldinho, Torres, Villa, Benzema...

There are alot of other players who would be more clever signings.

you need more work rate to play on the wing!

But if we bought him i doubt he would play on the wings with Nani and Valencia and GIggs there.

And he definitely does not have the workrate for the wings. But does he have enough for attacking midfield?

He's best when he's allowed to roam, which given Nani and Valencia's excellent form on the wings, would give him loads of space in the middle and cause all sorts of chaos in opposing defences.

I would be happy with Rodwell and Ronaldinho in addition to Hernandez and Smalling.

Slightly bizarre thread to start, but I could see it being a big success IF something like that were to happen. Nani for instance roaming free in the middle as well, exchanging places with Goofy a lot of the time. that's an immense forward line that could conceivably win everything.

None of those players would improve our First XI, which is what is lacking. Our overall squad depth is fine - exceptional in fact.

Rodwell has a bright future ahead of him but I can't see the point in signing Ronaldinho at this point in his career.

May be a few years late but i would still like to see him in a United shirt.

Well tbh Ronaldiho IS atleast a BIT more creative than Carrick at the very least.

Yes because Ronaldinho and Carrick clearly play in the same positions, so it's very fair to compare their creativity.

Look at what everyone hear is saying. We want a front four of Nani Valencia Rooney and Ronaldinho playing in an attacking midfield role which means Carrick would be sacrificed in all probability so yeah it's fair to compare the 2 people who are fighting for a place/

Ronaldinho is a liability defensively. I'd rather not.

Ronaldinho still thinks he's good enough that he can ignore his defensive responsibilities. He'd be a waste of space honestly.
