Now Soton knows Liverpool have £110M at the ready

Is Tchouameni a realistic proposition? Can't imagine he'd be much cheaper than Rice/Caicedo or have I missed something? I like Amrabat's profile but would prefer someone at a higher level. If Tchouameni is available at a cut price, you'd just go for it because his ceiling is so much higher but I'd imagine he's just out of reach financially.Exactly how I see it. You’ve got to grab a Lavia or Tchouameni when Liverpool or signing the Caicedo’s of this world. Amrabat don’t do it. Sorry.
He was far better than £105m Rice when it mattered in the UEFA final. Only saw him then when I took note of him and the WC where again he was superb. Seems to be loads of Southampton and Brighton supports on here who watch all thier games. Amrabat seems like excellent biz and more importantly seems to be the player ETH wants.
True, I had a feeling we might regret not taking West Ham's offer and the way things have gone since then are just confirming these suspicions. I'd say we need a CB, DM and another forward because it's the lack of goals that will most likely hurt us.

I hope Southampton absolutely rinses them, they now know Pool have 110m.
It feels nice to see Liverpool for once being the butt of the joke in the transfermarket. Woodward for a long time looked like a drunk guy at 5 in the morning trying to pull, while landing on his arse.
Now it's finally someone else's turn to be that guy everyone can see has money and is drunk.
It really is going to be something like that, Southampton must be rubbing their hands together imagining what lump of that 111M that they want for Lavia now. Imagine the fun if Lavia got ticked off with Liverpool's antics and signed for Brighton with Chelsea's transfer cash.
Yeah that would be funny
In fairness Liverpool's transfer folks have not done much wrong since Paul Konchesky, but what a way to end that run with a failed/snubbed record panic bid![]()
It would actually be a hugely sensible move for him and his development, if he was getting well advised.
We should go in for Lavia. Pile the pressure on Liverpool.
Nah Macallister was only 35 wasn’t he?So that will be £111m + £50m = £161m on two players?

Really fecking over Liverpool there![]()
