Tevez hasn't done too badly mind you.

Nope, he has done well.

But young promising players going to city really doesn't fuss me.

Some will make it, most will be fecked off when they aren't flavour of the month.

They are spunking fortunes, they are already incapable of keeping them all happy.

Tevez and Toure look like cracking buys granted.

Interesting move if true, seemed like his advisors and family had their head screwed on by staying in Belgium to finish his education and development, but can't see City as a good move

Surely means that Tevez is leaving than(in summer), can't see why they would they sign two strikers in a window.

Agreed, I can't see Teve staying past this season.

They'll have 2 of the best young stikers in the world in Balotelli and Lukaku, which is a shame.

Maybe, they're stocking up on players, because the Financial Rules will restrict what they do, due to their mediocre self generated income.

This is a move I really didn't expect.

First of all because he appears to loves Chelsea and second because I thought he was intelligent enough to realise this is probably a bad move for his career. He could have gone abroad last summer already, but decided to stay in Belgium to finish his school and because he still thought he could learn a lot at Anderlecht.

Maybe Kompany had something to do with it. I assume they know each other, both being from the Anderlecht youth academy.

But the wages must be a problem then for this Financial Fair Play, no?
One of the most important aspects about that plan is that wages cannot take more than 50% of the total income of the club.

I think last year, their wages even exceeded the total income of the club.

Would be a shame, really. From what I've seen (mostly YouTube), and from the rave reviews he's been getting since breaking onto the scene, he looks destined to be a real star.

whys that funny?

I was laughing at the bottom part giving off the idea that because United, Chelsea and City finished as the top 3 last season, that it's those 3 clubs Lukaku is referring to as the 3 biggest in England.

From how I read it, the player doesn't name those clubs, he says "one of the top three clubs in England", tribalbollocks are adding the rest based on the finishing order this season.

Exactly, I was laughing at the tribal assumption.

Give some credit man. He's deciphered a very complex set of words using his analysis of real world facts!

The article has truth in it but it leaves out a lot...

In Humo, a Belgian magazine (no tabloid) had an interview with Romelu Lukaku, and in that interview Lukaku says "It'll be one of the top three in England, or I'm staying". So Tribal left out that last part obviously!

Apparantly Lukaku and Anderlecht have set a deadline, june 6, to clarify the situation regarding a potential transfer. June 6 is when Lukaku's final exams start. Lukaku says he doesn't want to be signed by a club and then sent on loan again (not even back to Anderlecht). It has to do with pride he says.

Asked for the reason why he would like a transfer abroad, he says he's put to much in the spotlight in Belgium. They expect too much of him even though he just turned 18. He says that he feels that people are negative about him when he doesn't score for 2 games. he says he still needs to learn a lot and that he's still young. He wants to be "nobody" again. In belgium as a youngster, you don't always get the time to grow. He also thinks that abroad, people will look at him in a more realistic way.

He also says he realises he'll sit on the bench in the beginning and that he'll have to prove himself in the minutes he gets to make sure he'll be there at the end of the season, when it really matters.

Finally he said he doesn't NEED to go abroad now. He can just stay in Anderlecht for 2 years. He says it's his club and he feels home there.

Anderlecht have confirmed for the first time they and Chelsea are in discussions over Romelu Lukaku moving to Stamford Bridge.

And the transfer could involve Kevin De Bruyne joining the Brussels club on loan, with the midfielder admitting he was keen to leave Genk for the Blues and be farmed back out to his native Belgium.

Lukaku, 18, has long been linked with Chelsea, who he has confessed to support.

Rumours have been rife that Anderlecht general manager Herman van Holsbeeck had visited London to thrash out a deal with the Barclays Premier League club.

And he has now confirmed that he has been in talks with them, in addition to other clubs, amid reports Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham are also interested in the teenager.

Van Holsbeeck told Sky Sports: "There is still a long way to go in the negotiations.

"We are indeed negotiating with Chelsea, but there are other clubs we are talking to."

Van Holsbeeck refused to put a timescale on any deal, saying: "It could happen in the next half hour, it could take until August 31 - that is football."

Lukaku's Belgium team-mate De Bruyne could be used as a makeweight in any deal, with the 19-year-old midfielder revealing that would be acceptable to him were he to sign for Chelsea.

"I have had time to think about my future and I would love to join Chelsea, but the important thing next season is that I play," he said.

"With Chelsea, there is not that guarantee, but there would be at Anderlecht and they would be an ideal springboard for me.

"I know Genk are in the Champions League but they must get through two rounds anyway, and if I can improve sporting wise and obviously financially, then I hope Genk will not put any obstacles in my way."

De Bruyne's agent denied his client's loan move to Anderlecht would be dependent on any Lukaku deal.

Patrick de Koster said: "No, that is not the case.

"Kevin, though, is happy with the prospect of joining Anderlecht - he has stated that himself.

"He knows Chelsea have a history of this (loaning out players) and, if you do well, you will get your chance.

"And, yes, although he would benefit financially from this move, he is young and this is about his career and sporting opportunity."

Chelsea are continuing to make moves in the transfer market, despite having been without a manager for almost a month.

Wednesday saw them have a reported £22million bid rejected for Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric, an offer they will have to increase significantly to stand any chance of prising him away from White Hart Lane.

The Blues' managerial vacancy could soon be filled, with Turkey boss Guus Hiddink reportedly set to return to Stamford Bridge if a compensation package with his current employers can be agreed.

suprised this hasn't been braught up.

Arsenal are first off the blocks to make a bid to sign Anderlecht superkid Romelu Lukaku.

The Gunners on Friday night tabled a £14 million bid for the 18-year-old striker who is rated one of the top young players in Europe, according to 'The Sun'.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger now believes he can beat rivals Chelsea to get the signature of
the 6ft 3in starlet.

Lukaku's agent Christophe Henrotay met Arsenal officials in London on Friday, the report revealed.

He was then expected to fly to Portugal where the Belgian club are based during pre-season, to talk to the teenager.

He has hit 31 goals in just 71 games for Anderlecht and has already played nine times for Belgium.

It would represent a major coup for Wenger if the Arsenal manager can pull off the deal.

Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona also made inquiries but Lukaku looked sure to sign for Chelsea until Arsenal moved in.

Anderlecht are prepared to let him go for less than their £18 million asking price.

But a major stumbling block to any deal could be the fact that Lukaku's dad Roger stands to pocket 25 per cent of any fee.

Arsenal are on a money-spinning tour in the Far East but Wenger promised he is working day and night to strengthen the team.

It is understood that Gunners executives first spoke to Henrotay several months ago but only decided to firm up their interest in the last few days.

The news will be a huge boost to Emirates fans who are waiting for a conclusion to the saga of Cesc Fabregas' move to Barcelona next week, after the squad return from China.

"the 6,3 starlet"

Chelsea have reportedly put in a bid...
He likes Drog, so he would be keen on the move..

Just completed his transfer to Chelsea.

I reckon he's going to be a star - in a few years mind.

He cant be that far ahead of Welbeck at this moment, although he's a good bit younger.

I fancy Belgium as dark horses at the next World Cup

Some seriously talented players
